Hafthor Bjornsson shocks fans with gruesome injury as strongman and Game of Thrones star reveals brutal details
WORRIED strongman Hafthor Bjornsson displayed his gruesome pec injury and revealed the swelling is getting worse day by day.
The Game of Thrones star screamed in agony after tearing his upper chest "off the bone" when trying to bench press a personal best 556lbs.
And in a video update the Icelander displayed a huge purple bruise that he says is only getting bigger.
But the 34-year-old, who is back in powerlifiting after two years off for boxin,g is "optimistic" he'll recover fully.
The Mountain is jetting to the USA for surgery next Wednesday in Los Angeles from a specialist.
He had live-streamed his accident before appearing with a sling around his left arm.

But in his latest clip Bjornsson said: "I am positive, I am optimistic. I can move my arm, there's not really huge discomfort now."
He did add, though: "The swelling is getting worse. Every day it gets worse and worse."
He then filmed his trip to a doctor in Iceland, who told him he had a "huge tear" in the muscle and tendon area.
The doc said that means "it will not be easy to say until after the surgery how easy it will be to repair it completely".

Bjornsson turned to the camera as he responded: "Obviously I want to do the surgery as quickly as possible because the sooner I do it then sooner I can recover."
The doc then added: "I'm almost certain that's possible to repair - most of it but I'm not sure completely all. We will have to see in the surgery.
"Usually it will heal very well. It will heal with a certain amount of scar tissue so you will have to have good physiotherapy - six to 12 weeks to heal."
Bjornsson retained his calm good spirit throughout.
And he issued a buoyant message for fans.
He said: "The surgeon had told me on a phone ccall he is very optimistic that i will recover fully.
"I want to recover as well as possible and get back to my best."
