Cristiano Ronaldo ‘wanted by former club in shock return’ amid reports he wants to ‘leave Al-Nassr’

CRISTIANO RONALDO is reportedly a shock target for former side Real Madrid - despite only having just joined Al-Nassr.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner joined the Saudi big boys in December following the ripping up of his contract with Manchester United.

An excerpt of their report read: "Florentino Perez has guaranteed that [Ronaldo] will not lack work at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo has also been linked with a shock return to the Premier League with high-flying Newcastle United - who are currently owned by Saudis.

The Portugal skipper lifted the Champions League trophy three times with Los Blancos and won La Liga and the Copa del Rey twice.

Ronaldo has continued his goalscoring exploits since inking a whopping £175million-a-year deal with Al-Nassr.
