Team news
Yaya Toure starred on his return to City's side at Selhurst Park but the Ivorian is unavailable as Pep Guardiola did not select him in the 21-man Champions League squad.
However he can be recalled in January if Man City make it to the knockout stages.
Vincent Kompany was substitued after 37 minutes at Crystal Palace with a head injury and is a doubt for Wednesday's match.
Borussia Monchengladbach have no new injury worries but Julian Korb and Cristoph Kramer will both miss the match through suspension.
