DELORES AVEIRO has dismissed claims that her son Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez could split as "lies".
Ronaldo, 38, and Georgina, 29, were on the verge of splitting last month as the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was "fed up", according to sensational reports from Spain and Portugal.
However, the claims have been refuted by Delores, 68, when she was asked about the couple's alleged problems.
She told the press at a shop opening in her native Madeira: "It's all lies.
"Every couple argues, but what's been written is a lie."
Georgina and Ronaldo have also hit back at the suggestion their relationship is on the rocks.
