Cristiano Ronaldo’s mum slams claims he and Georgina Rodriguez could split and insists ‘every couple argues’
DELORES AVEIRO has dismissed claims that her son Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez could split as "lies".
Ronaldo, 38, and Georgina, 29, were on the verge of splitting last month as the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was "fed up", according to sensational reports from Spain and Portugal.
However, the claims have been refuted by Delores, 68, when she was asked about the couple's alleged problems.
She told the press at a shop opening in her native Madeira: "It's all lies.
"Every couple argues, but what's been written is a lie."
Georgina and Ronaldo have also hit back at the suggestion their relationship is on the rocks.

The model wrote in a social media post: "The jealous one invents a rumour, the gossipy one spreads it and the idiot believes it."
While Ronaldo posted a pic on his Instagram showing him kissing his partner of seven years during a meal.
The snap was joined with the caption: "Cheers to love."
One of the claims about their relationship came from TV show Socialite, which suggested Ronaldo was "fed up" of Georgina spending money in a shopping centre in Riyad, Saudi Arabia.
While Spanish TikToker Abel Planelles claimed that the couple had a row before boarding a plane.
The couple have been together since 2016 after meeting at a Gucci store she worked in while he was at Real Madrid.
The following year she gave birth to daughter Alana Martina, five, and four years later announced they were expecting twins.
Tragically, their son Angel died at birth but daughter Bella Esmeralda, one, survived - taking the former Manchester United star's total to five kids.
Georgina acts as a mother to his other three kids Cristiano Jr, 12, and five-year-old twins Eva and Mateo.
In her series, Georgina revealed how the couple heartbreakingly suffered three miscarriages.
The couple were forced to deny rumours they had secretly got married at a private ceremony in Mexico in 2019.
