MORNING FOOTY FANS

Reports are suggesting Victor Osimhen will be leaving Napoli this summer, the Serie A champions already have their eyes on his replacement.

The Italian side feel that Folarin Balogun is that player.

Having scored 21 goals during his loan spell to Reims, Arsenal are apparently willing to play ball if an offer of over £30m is received.

Meanwhile, Fred’s future at Man Utd hangs in the balance, with the Brazil star hinting at an exit.

“I still don’t know, I have to talk with my family,” he said.

“I still have one year left on my contract here. Now it’s holiday time and a good opportunity to rest.

“I’ll talk to my staff, to the club and see what everyone’s decision is.

“I do have to talk with Ten Hag as well. He’s the manager and the conversation has to involve everyone.

“We have to see how next season will plan out.

“I want to be important, I want to help the team, so we’ll see. But I’ve always been and still am very happy at Manchester United.

“Of course I always want to be playing, to be helping my team, and gladly I started the final and I think we played well.”

And Arsenal and Chelsea are in a race to sign Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.

With the out of contract player sparking a transfer tug of war between the two.

If The Gunners manage to sign him, it will be interesting to see whether he is first choice with Arteta having the option of Saka, Martinelli and Trossard as it stands.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta’s side are also keen to make a move for Leeds player Tyler Adams.

Make or break summer for German

Kai Havertz has some hard life decisions to make in this transfer window, with the player having two years remaining on his contract.

Chelsea want the attacking midfielder to sign a new deal, but if he decides not to, they will sanction his sale.

Blues' fans are torn on which they would prefer as the German has all too often failed to deliver in a Chelsea shirt.

Selling to Real Madrid would mean taking a hit on the fee they paid, but they have got three years service out of the player in that time.

PSG looking to make Man City swoop

With Lionel Messi and Neymar leaving Paris this summer, the French giants are looking to utilise the money this will save them with a swoop on the Premier League champions.

The player they have their sights on is Bernardo Silva.

Portuguese midfielder Silva has been linked with moves away from the club before but PSG feel they may well be able to prize him away from Manchester this summer.

Saint expected to try and force exit

Romeo Lavia is thought to be looking to get Southampton to allow him to move to a Premier League club rather than drop down to the Championship.

With both Liverpool and Chelsea rumoured to be interested in the player, it seems his head has been turned.

Southampton signed him from Man City for £14m last summer, which the champions included a buy-back clause of £40m but that cannot be triggered until next summer.

Spurs look to pip Hammers to German star

Tottenham, under new manager Ange Postecoglou, are looking to beat West Ham to the signing of Jonathan Tah.

The 27-year-old has made 305 appearance for Bayer Leverkusen since his arrival in 2015.

Centre back Tah, has many admirers but Spurs are keen to ensure they capture his signature.

Liverpool get cut-price big Mac

Alexis Mac Allister has decided where he wants to play his football next season, with Liverpool being the chosen destination.

The Reds are set to get the player on the cheap as his buyout clause was not a financial figure but dependant on a number of factors.

Due to the fact that Liverpool are not in the Champions League it means they will pay less than £50m for the World Cup winner.

It is somewhat of a coup for Liverpool as he had offers from top European clubs with Champions League football to offer.

It is thought that the player bought into the vision and project sold to him by manager Jurgen Klopp.

As the player is due to head back to Argentina, he has told Brighton he wants the deal sorted in the next 48 hours.

Burnley interested in signing Chelsea youngster

Vincent Kompany is looking to sign Chelsea full back Ian Maatsen.

The Blues have made it clear that the player would be available if they are willing to meet their £20m asking price.

Maatsen spent the season on loan at Turf Moor and showed that he is ready to step up to rigours of the Premier League.

RB Leipzig plan second swoop for Prem starlet

The German side are planning a second bid for Liverpool attacker Fabio Carvalho after having a £10m bid rejected.

It has been revealed that the player does not feature in the plans of Jurgen Klopp next season.

However, The Reds would only agree to a permanent deal that includes a favourable buy-back option for them.

Liverpool target aerial monster striker

After the departure of Roberto Firmino, Jurgen Klopp is considering a move for Marcus Thuram.

The 25-year-old striker, who has ten caps for France, can play in any of the front three positions.

Despite his dominance in the air, Thuram is somewhat of a poacher in the box also.

Should the Anfield outfit be interested, they will need to act fast with Man Utd, Newcastle and Tottenham all interested in the free agent.

Magpies could flex PSG out of transfer

Newcastle are interested in signing Lyon's Rayan Cherki as they look to bolster their ranks for their Champions League adventures.

Due to Financial Fair Play, PSG are not willing to go in excess of £43m for the transfer.

While this meets Lyon's valuation, the club are hoping to play the two Saudi-backed clubs off against each other.

Exceeding the £43m asking may see the Paris outfit look elsewhere for summer transfers.

Leicester announce club departures

Recently relegated Leicester City have started to reduce their wage budget as they listed the players leaving the club.

Youri Tielemans, Caglar Soyuncu, Daniel Amartey, Nampalys Mendy, Ryan Bertrand, Ayoze Perez and Tete will all be leaving the King Power Stadium.

No doubt Premier League sides will be swarming to sign the released players.

Brighton on verge of two signings

Roberto De Zerbi is expected to announce the signings of James Milner and Mahmoud Dahoud any day now.

The Seagulls have acted quickly in looking to secure the services of the two free agents.

With the potential of players leaving Brighton this summer, the manager is keen to strengthen his squad with European competition looming next season.

Abraham switch dead in the water

Tammy Abraham suffered a severe ACL injury in Roma's final league match of the season.

It is thought the striker will be out injured for the rest of 2023.

With many Premier League clubs rumoured to be interested in the player, any hopes of such a transfer for the player are now over.

Liverpool happy to let attacker leave

Jurgen Klopp has apparently made it clear to Fabio Carvalho that he is not part of his plans for next season.

The 20-year-old attacker has failed to make an impression since his transfer from Fulham last summer.

It is thought Liverpool would prefer to loan the player out and will only consider a permanent transfer if there is a buy-back clause to the Anfield side's advantage.

Chelsea set Kai Havertz price

The Blues have said that £52m would be enough to get them to consider selling the German attacking midfielder.

Since joining Chelsea, his goal return has been somewhat underwhelming with 19 goals in 91 appearances.

New boss Pochettino would possibly have the final say but with the lack of goals being an issue for the West London club this season, the Argentine manager may want to reshuffle the pack.

Barca need to sell to seal signing

Despite talks with the player's father, Barcelona are a long way from being able to sign Lionel Messi.

They would need to prove to La Liga that they can afford the deal, something which their current wage bill will not allow.

It is likely that the Catalan side would have to move on another three or four players to free up the sort of money any Messi deal would require.

Whether the player is willing to wait until this is concluded may be the biggest stumbling block in any potential return.

£40m Foxes' star creating lots of interest

Following their relegation from the Premier League, Leicester have a number of players who will have no intention of playing at a lower level.

One of these is England star James Maddison.

It is thought that Leicester would want in the region of £40m for the midfielder with Arsenal, Man Utd, Newcastle and Tottenham all interested.

Osimhen leaving decisions to board

After winning the Serie A title with Napoli this season, Victor Osimhen was immediately quizzed about his future.

The in-form striker said "I don’t know, the President has to decide that. I love the people of Napoli, they have shown me so much love. For me, I don’t mind, the president decides and I will just go with the flow."

Many clubs are interested in Osimhen and would like to make any potential move happen.

Celtic fans not wanting to go backwards

The Scottish club's fans are starting to come to terms with the fact that their manager seems destined for North London.

However, they are not interested in seeing Brendan Rodgers return to the club.

The way he lift, in the middle of the season, seems to have left a sour taste with the fans and want to see the club move forward with their next appointment.

Spurs confirm Postecoglou deal

Tottenham have confirmed that they have agreed terms, in principle, for Ange Postecoglou to become their new head coach.

The ex-Celtic manager has a trophy laden season in Scotland, taking his side to a domestic treble.

Postecoglou will look to begin his North London project now, with the future of striker Harry Kane being high on his 'to-do list'.

Chelsea sign Ecuadorian midfielder

The Blues have announced the signing of 16-year-old Kendry Paez from Independiente Del Valle.

Paez will join Chelsea after his 18th birthday so this is not a transfer that will go through immediately.

With the club looking to the long-term future, many Chelsea fans will be keeping a keen eye on the performances of the midfielder now.

Klopp with answer to midfield problems already

While Liverpool seem keen to get their transfer dealings done early on in the window, the one question all Reds' fans are asking is about the centre of midfield.

Klopp's side were left wanting and were dominated by opponents in the centre of the park all too often.

Adding Alexis Mac Allister will certainly strengthen that area but the club could save themselves some money with an option already at Anfield.

Signing a right back, capable of immediately playing in the first team, would allow the German manager to convert Trent Alexander Arnold to a centre midfield position.

There is no doubting that the player has the potential to become a box-to-box midfielder, capable of a range of passing and also pinging in goals from distance.

That kind of player would cost a pretty penny in the current transfer market as has been shown with the likes of Jude Bellingham.

Urge to sign superstar likely to get Messi

Numerous destinations have been spoken about when it comes to the future of Lionel Messi.

Inter Miami, Barcelona and Saudi Arabia have all been talked about when it comes to the Argentine's signature.

The football romantics would love to see a Barcelona return but whether the club can balance the books for the requirements of the deal is another question.

It is not long since the club were seemingly in financial ruin and selling their future TV rights has papered over the cracks somewhat.

The demands of the player will no doubt play the biggest part when his final destination is decided.

Tottenham struggling for Raya breakthrough

With Hugo Lloris announcing that he is looking for a new challenge away from North London, Tottenham are already trying to find his replacement.

David Raya has been a name they have long been linked with but seem only willing to pay £20m for the Brentford stopper.

Brentford however, value the 27-year-old keeper at £40m despite only having one year left on his contract.

Raya has starred for The Bees this season and despite his turning down two new contract offers it seems they will only let him leave this summer if their valuation is met.

Benzema to join Al-Ittihad

Karim Benzema is set to sign a two-year contract with Al-Ittihad after leaving Real Madrid.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted: "Karim Benzema has signed main part of docs to become new Al Ittihad player joining the Saudi league — here we go!

"Understand contract will be valid until 2025 but will also include option for further season.

"Karim will say goodbye to Madrid fans then travel to Saudi."
