Man City vs Inter betting tips
It's been major cup final after major cup final in recent days.
But this is very much 'save the best for last' as Manchester City aim to win their maiden Champions League title when they face Inter on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola's men have made no secret that this is the trophy they all crave and was the club's main objective heading into this season.
However, the way things have panned out, they're now chasing a sensational, historic treble if they were to clinch it.
Only one English side in history has ever managed to claim the Premier League title, FA Cup and premier European competition in the same campaign - Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United in 1999.
Having seen off their city rivals at Wembley last weekend, City now have the chance to emulate that and rubber stamp their place in the history books.
And the bookies believe this is the year the Cityzens do it having fallen short in the 2020-21 final to Chelsea.
They're a general 1/5 shot to lift the trophy and around 4/9 to clinch it within 90 minutes.
Inter won four of their last five Serie A games to wrap up a third place finish and Champions League football against next season.
But with Roma and Fiorentina both losing their own respective European finals in recent days, it's not been a great look for the Italian top division.
And this is a City side on a roll and it will take a mammoth effort from the Italians to prevent them winning it this year.
City slickers
It doesn't look as if anything will prevent City winning their maiden Champions League title.
And even more than that, it looks like they could do it in some style too.
Inter have conceded three to Napoli and twice to Atalanta in recent games and City could rack up a few here.
They started exceptionally quick against Man Utd last week and could do so here and maintain a second half gallop.
Yellow warning
Referee Szymon Marciniak has a strong card average in this year's Champions League, after recording an average of four yellows per games in the World Cup.
He's shown 27 yellows in seven UCL ties this season so far and that trend could continue here.
For this, it's best to look at players who will cause the other side problems, so most notably Jack Grealish and Lautaro Martinez.
Ruben Dias to be carded is a decent 23/10 shot but going the other way, we'll opt for a bit of value in yellows in the Inter camp.
Sitting maestro
With Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish and Ilkay Gundogan getting all the plaudits this season, Rodri has gone about his work in quiet yet splendid fashion.
The sitting midfielder is among the first names on the team sheet and his performance will be key if City want to get over the line.
A Rolls-Royce with the ball at his feet, he can also do the other side of the game very well and with Inter potentially looking to play on the break, his cleverness to break up play can be a key asset.
