  • United extend Adidas partnership

Man Utd have announced that they have extended their long-term partnership with main sponsors Adidas by at least seven years.

The club's Chief Executive Officer, Richard Arnold said: “The relationship between Manchester United and Adidas is one of the most iconic in world sport, forged through a shared commitment to style, flair and, most importantly, high performance.

“With its roots in the 1980s, our partnership has been reinvented over the past decade with some of the most innovative designs and technology in sportswear. We are now looking forward to refreshing this powerful partnership again through the remainder of this decade and into the 2030s.”

  • Ten Hag labels Dortmund performance 'unforgivable'

Erik ten Hag slammed his Manchester United players' "unforgivable" performance against Borussia Dortmund as they lost 3-2 in Las Vegas.

He said: "Yeah, [the game was] two parts, the first hour was good, playing as a team, lot of dynamic, good pressing.

"So it was really enjoyable to see and that's what I wanted to say at half-time, but all of a sudden, they give two goals away.

"They were giveaways and that was annoying. But the last half an hour, it was bad, a poor performance.

"They didn't follow the rules at all, not in pressing, not in building up or when attacking. They were 11 individuals on the pitch.

"That wasn't good at all. I said to the team, I think it was a good tour, but you want to finish with a good performance and there was only 60 minutes that I was pleased with, but not with the goals we conceded because the first one was poor defending and the second one was poor in build-up.

"That's not us, we have to keep control, keep responsibility on the ball and it was the same for the 3-2. That can't happen and it's unforgivable, even if it's a friendly."

  • Fernandes hits back over Onana clip

Bruno Fernandes has rubbished claims he ignored new Manchester United keeper Andre Onana during his side's 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid.

But prior to the game against Dortmund, a short video emerged online appearing to show Fernandes walking straight past Onana as the shot-stopper tried to speak to him during the Real Madrid clash.

And the caption to the clip painted the new Red Devils skipper in a bad light.

It read: "Captain Bruno don't want anyone [to] correct him or advise him. Bruno completing [sic.] ignores new signing Onana 🤯."

However, Fernandes was having none of it as he replied to the post by explaining what was really going on.

He said: "Nice how you could see me ignoring him when I was going to the place we was telling me to be positioned in the corner . Nice try to make it look bad 😘."

  • Dean Henderson latest

DEAN HENDERSON'S transfer to Nottingham Forest is in jeopardy after they reportedly identified an alternative target.

The one-time Manchester United No.1 is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer after the Red Devils £47million acquisition of Andre Onana.

It had been widely expected that Henderson would move back to the City Ground for the upcoming season by turning his loan move into a permanent transfer.

However, the move now appears to be under threat after Steve Cooper's side identified Arsenal star Matt Turner as an alternative.

According to transfer guru , Forest have already asked the Gunners for their conditions to strike a deal for the American.

And his report adds they will only sign ONE goalkeeper this summer.

It was reported earlier on Sunday that Mikel Arteta wants to recruit Brentford contract rebel David Raya to provide competition for Aaron Ramsdale - with Turner set to make way.

This being said,  claim there is a gap in valuation between Forest and Arsenal over Turner.

  • Ten Hag feeling smiles better over Rasmus

Manchester United have noticed that manager Erik ten Hag “can’t stop smiling” when asked about Atalanta star and top transfer target Rasmus Hojlund.

Hojlund is expected to complete a £72million deal to join United, who agreed a deal to land him with £64m to be paid upfront and a further £8m coming in add-ons on Saturday.

When asked about the striker during an interview with Sky Sports, Ten Hag said: “I can’t talk about those who are not on the contract at Manchester United.

“So if you want to make the question, first we have to finish something, and then after we can talk and you can set the question.

“I can’t talk about this player at the moment because I have been in football for a long time and I know first we need signings, and so far we have to keep calm and let the professionals do their work."

  • Boca 'keen on Facundo'

Uruguay winger Facundo Pellistri has been linked with another loan move from Manchester United.

Argentine giants Boca Juniors have been linked with the 21-year-old, who has twice been borrowed by Alaves.

Pellistri’s agent Edgardo Lasalvia believes United would prefer to send his client to a club in Europe.

But he has pledged to do what it takes to secure a move to the Argentine giants.

  • Ten Hag boost for Jonny

Jonny Evans has made such an impression on Manchester United’s coaching team that he could stay on beyond the summer.

Evans, 35, initially signed a short-term deal with his first club to cover friendlies with Lyon and Wrexham.

Erik Ten Hag asked him to stay for the rest of their pre-season American tour as United “needed the numbers in training.”

But insiders say Evans – released by Leicester when his contract expired at the end of last season – is in such good shape he could be part of the squad for the new campaign.

United could lose Harry Maguire and Eric Bailly in the current window, and with the ongoing takeover saga muddying the waters over the transfer kitty, Ten Hag is wary of being left short.

  • Matt's the Hend of it?

Dean Henderson’s transfer to Nottingham Forest is in jeopardy after they reportedly identified an alternative target.

The one-time Manchester United No.1 is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer after the Red Devils £47million acquisition of Andre Onana.

It had been widely expected that Henderson would move back to the City Ground for the upcoming season by turning his loan move into a permanent transfer.

However, the move now appears to be under threat after Steve Cooper‘s side identified Arsenal star Matt Turner as an alternative.

According to transfer guru , Forest have already asked the Gunners for their conditions to strike a deal for the American.

And his report adds they will only sign ONE goalkeeper this summer.

  • Ten Hag persuaded Marcus to stay

Marcus Rashford admits it was boss Ten Hag who convinced him to stay this summer and lead Manchester United's drive for more trophies — and to join Manchester City and Arsenal in the title race.

“A little bit more stability gives you the baseline to try and showcase your abilities.

Rashford, 25, added: “I enjoy scoring goals, I enjoy making assists, playing in the forward areas and trying to cause a threat to the other team.

“I felt just a little bit more freedom.

“We were just a little bit rigid in the past, sometimes you’re not enjoying your football.

“And that was the case with me. I wasn’t enjoying my football as much as I should be, as much I was used to enjoying it.

“Because of that, it influenced my performance and ultimately that’s how I am as a person — if I’m not happy then it’s difficult for me to play my best football.”

  • Erik saved me - Rashford

Marcus Rashford says Erik ten Hag saved his Manchester United career after he thought about leaving the club.

The England striker, 25, enjoyed a personal best 30 goals in all competitions last season with the Red Devils’ new boss.

That came a year after he scored just five in a struggling team under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and then interim coach Ralf Rangnick.

Mega-rich Paris Saint-Germain wanted the hitman — but the proud Manc saw Ten Hag could help him achieve his ambitions at his boyhood club.

Asked if he considered quitting, Rashford said: “Before the manager came maybe a bit. He came at the right time for me.

“He is ambitious. I didn’t have a doubt in my mind about that.”

  • Suzuki now 'really tempted' by Red Devils

Manchester United will go into over-drive for a new No1 keeper - if Dean Henderson's future gets sorted quickly.

That's the feeling tonight amid claims by transfer expert that £5million-rated Japan stopper Zion Suzuki is now "really tempted" by Old Trafford.

It's previously been suggested the 20-year-old was worried about a lack of first-team action - because it might affect his Olympic hopes.

But Sky Sports'  says the Red Devils are "expected to accelerate" an approach for Urawa Red Diamonds hero Suzuki, providing Henderson departs.

The England stopper, 26, was tipped for a permanent move to his former loan club Nottingham Forest.

But that's suddenly less clear-cut as Forest are also being linked with Arsenal back-up keeper Matt Turner.

  • It's good Ten Hag tells us how it is

Manchester United hitman Marcus Rashford is happy that boss Erik ten Hag assesses his players so bluntly to their faces.

Rashford said: “The manager always wants you to improve, whether it’s physically or mentally.

"For us, as players, it’s important he works on both sides with us. If he sees an obvious place to make improvement, then he doesn’t shy away from telling it.

“You have to be consistent with it. For me it’s important I get consistent opportunities and it’s up to me to take it on.

"I have to keep getting in the right areas and hopefully the goals keep coming. It’s always the purpose of your career - you want to keep improving.

“Hopefully I can get more goals and do more, but I’ll be equally happy if we spread the goals out more and everyone gets five or six more goals and that means we’re doing better than last season.”

  • Rashford admits he must keep concentrating

Marcus Rashford admits "concentration" is his key to success - after his Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag demanded he kept the "right attitude"

The England striker, 25, has signed a huge new contract after notching a career-best 33 goals for United last season, including 17 in the Premier League.

But Rashford appeared to accept Ten Hag's observations on him amid their US tour.

The Mancunian said: “It’s concentration. If I’ve got the concentration, sometimes you might not have a chance all game and you get that one chance and you have to take it.

"If I can stay focused on that, then I think I can definitely score more goals than I did last season, but I have to be in the goalscoring positions to get the chances, that’s the main focus."

  • Forest eye shock U-Turner on Dean

Dean Henderson's transfer to Nottingham Forest is in jeopardy after they reportedly identified an alternative target.

The one-time Manchester United No.1 is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer after the Red Devils £47million acquisition of Andre Onana.

It had been widely expected that Henderson would move back to the City Ground for the upcoming season by turning his loan move into a permanent transfer.

According to transfer guru , Forest have already asked the Gunners for their conditions to strike a deal for the American.

And his report adds they will only sign ONE goalkeeper this summer.

  • Red Devils 'bid for Josko'

have reportedly bid for RB Leipzig's .

It's claimed the Red Devils have stolen a march on the Croat's string of other admirers, including neighbours City, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Bunsesliga giants Leipzig are thought to want around £86m for the 21-year-old.

But even if United had made a formal offer, City could remain favourites to sign him.

  • Good Evans, he could stay longer!

  • No man's Lund

Manchester United legend Teddy Sheringham urged his former club to chase Napoli star Victor Osimhen instead of Atalanta ace Rasmus Hojlund, who is close to moving to Old Trafford.

    Sheringham told SunSport via :

Manchester United have always brought in top, top quality strikers to help them challenge for the title. I really think that Harry Kane would be the ideal solution for Manchester United, but they may have to wait another season to get him.

If Kane is the player that United really want, then I would wait for him to become available. We’ve all read the stories that broke over the weekend about the club selling him this summer unless he signs a new deal, and we also know that Daniel Levy would prefer to sell him outside of the Premier League, but who knows what will happen with Harry Kane this summer.

If he stays at Tottenham you know that Kane will be professional, focussed and will give you a 100% in every single game. I don’t know what is happening with that situation.

It seems like for the last few summers, there has been doubts about his future at Tottenham. It looks like United may have to look elsewhere for a forward this summer.

I’m not sure about Hojlund at Atalanta but I do really like Osimhen at Napoli – he looks like he knows where the goal is. He is a proper number nine that leads the line.

  • Erik ten Ha-ppy

Manchester United have noticed that manager Erik ten Hag "can't stop smiling" when asked about Atalanta star and top transfer target Rasmus Hojlund.

Hojlund is expected to complete a £72million deal to join United, who agreed a deal to land him with £64m to be paid upfront and a further £8m coming in add-ons on Saturday.

When asked about the striker during an interview with Sky Sports, Ten Hag said: "I can't talk about those who are not on the contract at Manchester United.

  • Gary Neville prediction

Manchester United legend Gary Neville claims his former team could finish above Arsenal in second place behind Manchester City this coming season.

Sitting here today, it’s difficult to say yes. It’s all dependent on the budget.

Under the owners the club has had, I think they’ll probably still finish in the top four, but I don’t think they’ll improve on it.

If they got new owners and had £250m or £300m to spend, they’ve got a chance of going up to second.

I do think they’ve got a chance of taking that spot off Arsenal – that’s up for grabs – but they’d have to spend well.

  • Sofyan Amrabat close

Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat has “packed his bags” for an impending transfer to Manchester United.

Amrabat, 26, is United manager Erik ten Hag’s latest summer target, with a £21.5million bid already on the table as the club closes in on Atalanta's Rasmus Hojlund.

According to Tuttosport, Ten Hag is keen to raid Serie A for another of its top stars after landing Hojlund and Andre Onana from Inter Milan.

The Red Devils are looking to reinforce the team in other positions after sealing a deal with Atalanta for Hojlund.

  • Kobbie Mainoo out

Manchester United rising star Kobbie Mainoo has been ruled out for the "first part" of the season in a major blow.

And that looks set to force United boss Erik ten Hag to go back into the transfer market for another midfielder.

Mainoo, 18, suffered an ankle injury against Real Madrid during pre-season.

The midfielder clashed with Rodrygo just three minutes into the friendly and he was later spotted on crutches and in a protective boot.

And it is bad news for the England Under-19 international as he has been sidelined just as he was beginning to break into Ten Hag's first team at Old Trafford.

United confirmed Mainoo is "expected to be ruled out for the first part of the 2023-24 season".

And now the club are set to step up their pursuit of Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat.

  • Fred talks collapse

Manchester United ace Fred's transfer talks with Lazio broke down thanks to former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri rejecting him.

And that has paved the way for the midfielder to move to Galatasaray.

The Brazil international was a target for the Roman giants as chairman Claudio Lotito held strong interest.

But when Lotito proposed the 30-year-old, Sarri pulled the plug - simply because he didn't want him.

And the ex-Chelsea boss has previous in shutting down other options on his boss' wishlist - and instead suggests the players he wants to bring in.

  • Don his way out

Manchester United are in negotiations to sell Donny van de Beek to Real Sociedad.

Van de Beek has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford since joining from Ajax in 2020.

According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Real Sociedad are interested in bringing the playmaker to LaLiga.

Romano claims that negotiations are "ongoing" between the two clubs, with no agreement yet reached.

The Italian journalist's report adds that Sociedad are also yet to agree personal terms with the Netherlands international.

United are keen to clear room for a new midfield acquisition this summer.

  • Rasmus Hojlund's goodbye

Manchester United target Rasmus Hojlund was spotted shaking hands and saying his goodbyes to Atalanta team-mates after the friendly with Bournemouth.

Hojlund was an unused substitute during the Serie A giants' 3-1 win over the Cherries.

Sky Sports News presenter Marc McAdam tweeted that the striker "went to a number of the Atalanta players on the pitch to shake hands; looked like he was saying his goodbyes."
