HARRY KANE has finally set off for Germany to finalise a move to Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga champions have chased the striker all summer before finally having a £104million bid accepted by Tottenham this week.

And it is understood that Spurs will collect an initial fee of £86m plus easily-attainable add-ons to round it up to £104m.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have agreed a British transfer fee of £111m for Brighton's Moises Caicedo - but Chelsea are reportedly prepared to table an even higher offer.

  • Erik rues Harry exit from Prem

Erik ten Hag declined to reveal just how far Manchester United got in pursuing Harry Kane - but admitted he regrets the Three Lions' skipper departing England.

The Old Trafford boss said of the Spurs striker heading for Bayern Munich: “It's a miss for the Premier League, absolutely.

“We want to challenge and play the best.”

But of United's hunt for the 30-year-old he was less forthcoming.

The Dutchman said: “I don't think that I have to go into that discussion or give an opinion about that.

“We are professional, the processes we do are really careful, we consider a lot of things but finally we make decisions, not overnight, we study every decision behind, we are happy with the squad we have behind us now.”

  • Kane future no longer up in the Herr..

Harry Kane has been seen for the first time since agreeing to join Bayern from Tottenham.

And it shows the England skipper is on cloud nine over his imminent £104m switch - as he was at Stansted Airport to fly out to Germany in a private plane.

Kane, 30 is moving to the Bundesliga kings in a bid to finally win silverware.

And it's thought he's also receiving a hefty pay rise.

  • Ten Hag backs Rasmus signing over Kane

Erik ten Hag insists he got it right in landing Rasmus Hojlund rather than pursuing Harry Kane.

Spurs record striker Kane is heading to Bayern Munich after months of negotiations with the Bundesliga club.

But Manchester United bailed out early on not wanting protracted negotiations with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

They also baulked at what they heard would be wage demands of £577,000 a week.

So they landed 20-year-old Dane Hojlund in a £72million deal from Serie A club Atalanta.

And while the player will miss the start of the season due to a slight injury, manager Ten Hag is happy with the business he has done.

Ten Hag said: "First of all, we have chosen a striker and we are really happy with our choice.

"He's a great striker, clear, a goal maker and apart from that he has all the conditions and abilities that you want to see in a striker."

It was claimed the striker was on his way to Stansted airport but had to turn around and hole up at the home of a family member.

Whatever the issue, it appears to have been ironed out with Tottenham now giving Kane the green light to fly.

There was another potential hiccup after fans spotted a private jet flight, believed to be transporting Kane, was cancelled.

  • Could Kyogo replace Kane?

Celtic's Kyogo Furuhashi could be targeted by Tottenham to replace Harry Kane.

Scotland legend Pat Nevin reckons ex-Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou will fancy the Japan striker.

Nevin told the : "If Kyogo left, it would break Celtic hearts.

"He just signed a new deal which is good, however if the Premier League comes calling, it will be hard to turn down."

The former Chelsea winger added: "The obvious place for him to go there would be Spurs.

"If Harry Kane goes, they will need someone who can link up play and is a natural goalscorer. Ange would have worked with him before, so he will know all about him.

"Kyogo is not the same level as Kane, and he is slighter than him. Kane is world class, while Kyogo would still have to show that in a top league.

"If you give Kyogo the chance to score goals though, he will score and Ange will know that."

  • Chelsea want new striker

Chelsea are looking to sign another striker following the injury to summer signing Christopher Nkunku, reports SunSport's Jack Rosser.

Nkunku joined in a £56million deal from RB Leipzig but suffered a knee injury during the pre-season tour of the United States.

The versatile forward has undergone surgery and will not be able to train for four months - meaning manager Mauricio Pochettino now wants another striker to add to his squad.

Romelu Lukaku is still on the books as he looks for a move back to Italy but is not considered part of Pochettino's plans.

  • Inter pull out

Inter Milan could be ready to admit defeat in the chase for Arsenal ace Folarin Balogun.

Monaco are now favourites to sign Balogun amid claims he’d rather move abroad than to a Premier League rival like West Ham.

Inter, Serie A rivals AC Milan and Atletico Madrid have all been linked with the 22-year-old ace.

But reports claim the cente-forward has agreed personal terms with Monaco.

It’s thought the Nerazzurri are quelling their interest in the USA international.

  • Paqueta agrees City deal

West Ham star Lucas Paqueta has agreed to join Manchester City this summer.

According to reporter Mohamed Bouhafsi, Paqueta has agreed on a six-year contract with City.

The versatile midfielder spoke with the Treble winners' manager Pep Guardiola.

The Citizens made an offer of £85 million and added £10m in bonuses.

The Hammers, though, want £110m without bonuses and negotiations continue but City are confident they will get the Brazil international.

  • Why United didn’t sign Caicedo

Brighton star Moises Caicedo could’ve signed for Manchester United for just £4million, but is now in the midst of a £111million transfer battle between Liverpool and Chelsea.

It has been reported that the Seagulls have accepted a British-record £111million bid for Caicedo from the Reds.

And Brighton could still rake in even more cash with the Blues said to still be looking to swoop in and steal the midfielder away from the Merseysiders.

But despite the Ecuador international’s HUGE valuation and the number of top teams clamouring to sign him, United turned down the opportunity to sign for just £4m.

According to , the Red Devils walked away from a deal for the 21-year-old in 2021 just before Brighton brought him to the Prem.

United held talks with his former club Independiente del Valle two years ago over the move but chose to turn their attention elsewhere because of financial complications over payments to various agents.

  • Kan move on

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has broken his silence on Harry Kane's proposed move to Bayern Munich.

It looks like Kane to Bayern is going to happen. It gives us some clarity, so we move forward without Harry.

We’ve been planning for this for a while. A lot of our business up until now was with that in mind.

It doesn’t change my plans dramatically

  • Caicedo wants Chelsea

Brighton star Moises Caicedo prefers to join Chelsea rather than Liverpool.

According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Caicedo has informed the Reds that he only wants to join the Blues.

The midfielder has decided to keep his word after agreeing personal terms with the West Londoners in May.

Chelsea are set to bid again in order to beat the Merseysiders' offer and finalise the deal with the Seagulls.

  • Ten Hag on Kane

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag insists he got it right in landing Rasmus Hojlund rather than pursuing Harry Kane, reports SunSport’s Neil Custis.

United bailed out early on the race for Kane after deciding against being dragged on protracted negotiations with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

First of all, we have chosen a striker and we are really happy with our choice.

He’s a great striker, clear, a goal maker and apart from that he has all the conditions and abilities what you want to see in a striker.

Manchester United have been handed a transfer blow to their hopes of signing Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat after another team joined the race.

According to , Juventus are now keen on landing Amrabat in the summer.

  • Rasmus Hojlund shirt number

Manchester United summer signing Rasmus Hojlund has been handed the No17 jersey.

Hojlund completed a £72million move to United last week and will wear the No17 shirt, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.

The number was previously held by Fred but he is set to complete a move to Fenerbahce.

The midfielder will undergo a medical with the Turkish giants after agreeing terms.

  • 'New Paul Pogba'

Brighton could replace the outgoing Moises Caicedo with Red Bull Salzburg star Lucas Gourna-Douath, as per SunSport’s Kostas Lianos.

Gourna-Douath has been previously dubbed the "new Paul Pogba" mainly thanks to his talent and shared history with the former Manchester United star, who currently plays for Juventus.

The midfielder spent part of his youth training with Torcy, the same Parisian outfit that Pogba played for before entering more elite academies.

The France Under-19 international was also previously linked with Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and RB Leipzig.

  • Moises Caicedo replacement

Brighton are targeting Red Bull Salzburg star Lucas Gourna-Douath as Moises Caicedo's replacement, reports SunSport's Kostas Lianos.

Caicedo looks set to leave the Amex Stadium with Liverpool and Chelsea battling for his signature.

Reports suggest the midfielder is set to undergo a medical at Anfield after the Reds reached a British record £111million deal with the Seagulls.

However, the Blues are set to raise their £100m offer for the Ecuador international and could try to beat the Merseysiders' bid.

SunSport understand Roberto De Zerbi's men are resigned to losing the 21-year-old this summer.

That is why they are now prioritising Gourna-Douath as Caicedo's successor in midfield.

  • Chelsea eyeing Verratti

Chelsea are lining up a £50million move for Paris Saint-Germain star Marco Verratti, reports SunSport's Steve Goodman.

Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino is seeking top-quality midfield reinforcements after the departures of Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount and N'Golo Kante.

And PSG have just made Italy international Verratti available after 11 years at the Parc des Princes.

The French giants have already rejected two offers from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, of £26m and £39m, for the 30-year-old.

He signed a contract extension last December, and has three years left on his current deal.

  • Chelsea back for Caicedo

Chelsea are set to raise their offer for Brighton star Moises Caicedo in an attempt to beat Liverpool.

The Reds have had a British record £111million offer accepted by the Seagulls and are hoping to guard against a late hijack by concluding the deal as quickly as possible.

According to The Guardian, however, it is understood the Blues have not given up their pursuit of the midfielder and are ready to bid more than £110m.

The West Londoners have been frontunners for the Ecuador international and submitted an offer worth up to £100m on Thursday night.

However Chelsea were stunned by the Merseysiders muscling in on the deal for the 21-year-old earlier in the day.

Liverpool are planning to sort out personal terms with Caicedo in order to complete the transfer today - however, the saga continues.

  • Kane's flight cancelled

Departing Tottenham superstar Harry Kane's flight to Germany appears to have been cancelled.

Kane, 30, has finally been given permission to fly for his medical following a last minute hold-up.

Spurs have accepted a £104million transfer bid from Bayern Munich and the star striker was due to jet out to Oberpfaffenhofen airport near the Bavarian city this morning via private jet.

However, the North Londoners rescinded permission for him to travel while he was on his way to Stansted airport.

That stance has now changed after the 30-year-old, who has entered the final 12 months of his Spurs deal, spent some time at a nearby family home while waiting for permission to leave.

But now another minor obstacle has occurred after the flight, that fans appear convinced he was due to be on, appears to have been cancelled.

Journalist Sami Mokbel then tweeted: “Harry Kane currently due to leave on an early afternoon flight to Munich. Was originally due to arrive this morning amid claims Tottenham are trying to renegotiate finer parts of the agreement with Bayern Munich. But told issues are close to being resolved.”
