Transfer news LIVE: Harry Kane LEAVES for Germany ahead of Bayern move, Chelsea to hijack Liverpool’s Caicedo deal

HARRY KANE has finally set off for Germany to finalise a move to Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga champions have chased the striker all summer before finally having a £104million bid accepted by Tottenham this week.

And it is understood that Spurs will collect an initial fee of £86m plus easily-attainable add-ons to round it up to £104m.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have agreed a British transfer fee of £111m for Brighton's Moises Caicedo - but Chelsea are reportedly prepared to table an even higher offer.

Juventus could yet bid for Arsenal's Thomas Partey.

It's again claimed tonight that the Serie A giants have spoken to Ghana star Partey's agents.

  • Greenwood blow over shirt numbers

Mason Greenwood has suffered a blow as Man United release their provisional squad numbers list - and he's NOT on it.

The striker, 21, has been suspended by the Premier League club since January 2022 and not kicked a ball for them since his arrest.

Greenwood was later charged with attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour, before the charges were dropped in February by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).

And Utd are expected to make their decision on his future in the coming days.

Greenwood could have his contract terminated, be put back into the first team, loaned out or sold.

It comes after The Sun revealed snaps on Tuesday of Greenwood looking relaxed as he trained on a public pitch.

His dad and coach, Andrew Greenwood, instructed him and cradled the player's newborn as he ran through shooting drills with pals.

And today the club released provisional squad numbers for the new season.

  • Red Devils face keeper crisis for Prem kick-off

Manchester United are facing a goalkeeper crisis ahead of Monday's Prem opener at home to Wolves

It comes after No2 Tom Heaton suffered an injury ruling him out of the Red Devils' season opener against Wolves.

It leaves Andre Onana as the only fit senior goalkeeper at the club.

SunSport revealed how Dean Henderson's transfer to Nottingham Forest had been delayed by a thigh injury, which he is still nursing.

Meanwhile, United have already sold Nathan Bishop to Sunderland while David de Gea left the club on a free transfer earlier this summer.

United are also set to sell forgotten goalkeeper Matej Kovar to Bayer Leverkusen, according to reports.

And this means the club will now likely need to call up Under-21 goalkeeper Radek Vitek, 19, who playd once in pre-season.

  • Prem's blunder wall outFoxes surprise champs

THE Premier League has been forced to delete a tweet after fans spotted a glaring error in the post.

On the eve of the top flight's return, the Prem has been busy promoting the new season on their social media channels.

Part of that promotion saw them tweet out a list of the winners since the Prem's inception in 1992/93.

However, eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot a notable omission from the "Wall of champions".

The tweet, which asked fans who would be champion at the end of the 2023/24 season, left off one of the most memorable victories of recent times.

Such has been Manchester City's recent dominance that it could be easy to forget a time when they went three seasons without the title.

But between 2014/15 and 2016/17 that is exactly what happened, with Chelsea picking up two league titles and Leicester City's remarkable win in 2015/16 sandwiched in-between.

But looking at the graphic, Leicester's badge had been inexplicably swapped for a Man City one.

Reacting to the gaffe, one fan said: "Am I going nuts, or are Leicester not there?" A second wrote: "Did Leicester get removed💀."

  • Inter fear Balogun out of reach

Inter Milan could be ready to admit defeat over Folarin Balogun.

Monaco are now favourites to sign the Arsenal striker amid claims he'd rather move abroad than to a Prem rival like West Ham.

Inter, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid have all been linked with the 22-year-old.

But reports today suggest Balogun has agreed personal terms with Monaco.

And in Italy it's thought Inter are quelling their interest.

  • VDB closes on Sociedad loan

Donny van de Beek is heading for a fresh start on loan with Real Sociedad.

The Holland midfielder, 26, has struggled with injuries, muted form and lack of game-time since arriving at Old Trafford from Ajax in 2020.

VDB fared little better on loan at Everton for the second half of last term.

But LaLiga side Sociedad want him to replace Manchester City legend David Silva.

The 125-cap Spaniard, 37 retired last month due to an ACL injury.

  • Rasmus given shirt number

BREAKING: New Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has reportedly been handed the number 17 shirt.

The £72million ace, 20, arrived from Atalanta last week and has been unveiled to fans at Old Trafford.

But the Dane has a back injury that could keep him out of competitive action for a few weeks.

  • Five alive to Emirates exits?

The Gunners could still offload up to five players in the next two weeks.

Loan keeper David Raya has followed in the £200million treble buy of Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice.

And boss Mikel Arteta is expected to allow some senior players to depart this transfer window.

Monaco target Folarin Balogun and Newcastle-linked Kieran Tierney could be the biggest departures.

Nicolas Pepe, Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga might also go.

  • It's finally all Kovar

Manchester United are reportedly set to sell forgotten goalkeeper Matej Kovar.

The 23-year-old has been with United since 2018.

However, he is now set to be sold after failing to make a single first-team appearance for the club.

Kovar, who stands at 6ft 5in, will be snapped up by Bayer Leverkusen.

According to , the German outfit will pay just under £8million for his signature.

The Czech Republuic Under-21 ace will reportedly have his medical later today.

Kovar helped Sparta Prague win the league while on loan last season

Czech outlet  adds the Red Devils have inserted a buy-back clause into the deal with the first right of refusal on a transfer.

Kovar appeared twice for United at the start of pre-season.

  • Leeds reel in Rod from Spurs

Tottenham outcast Joe Rodon has joined Leeds on loan for the season.

The Wales centre-back, 25, spent last term farmed out to Ligue Un side Rennes.

He was not in the plans of Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou so has gone out temporarily again, this time to recently-relegated Leeds.

  • Rasmus is 'first Utd centre-forward since RVP'

New boy Rasmus Hojlund has been labelled Manchester United's first "proper centre-forward since Robin van persie.

Ex-England defender Paul Parker believes having a No9 will make a "big difference" as his old club bid to close the gap on last season's top two Arsenal and champions Man City.

Parker told the last United boss to have true strikers was Alex Ferguson in his legendary reign from 1986-2013.

Now Danish star Hojlund, 20 has arrived from Atalanta, although he is expected to miss at least the first two games of the campaign through injury.

I think it's brilliant that Man United have gone out and signed someone who is young to play in that position.

This signing is going to make a big difference because he is only 20 and he wants to prove a point. He is going to be really enthusiastic on the pitch and he has to follow on from Peter Schmeichel as the greatest Dane ever to play for Man United.”

Man United haven't had a proper centre forward since Sir Alex Ferguson retired. The last good centre forward at Man United was Robin van Persie.  All the centre forwards that have been through Man United were brought to the club because of PR-reasons like Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic.

  • Ferd-class boost for first-place bid

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand appears to think only his old club and Arsenal can threaten Man City’s bid for a fourth successive Premier League crown.

The Gunners saw an eight-point lead last season overhauled as City triumphed by five points on their way to the ultimate Treble of Prem, FA Cup and Champions League.

And in Erik ten Hag’s first campaign as Old Trafford boss, United were a further nine points adrift – 14 in all off Pep Guardiola’s men.

Ex-England defender Ferdinand told TNT Sport: “Manchester United and Arsenal, two challengers. If anyone’s going to get close to (Man City) it’ll be those two.”

  • 'Spurs better for Luiz than Gunners'

Douglas Luiz has been urged to choose old club Tottenham over Arsenal - if the London rivals step up their reported interest.

The Aston Villa midfielder, 25, has been linked with a summer move in the past week.

But ex-Villa striker Darren Bent believes the Gunners are already overflowing with midfield options.

Asked who Luiz should choose, the 13-cap Englishman told talkSPORT: “ Spurs."

Bent claimed Arsenal are "stacked in there".

  • Real close on De Gea

Real Madrid are reportedly on the brink of signing Manchester United legend David de Gea.

Real's ex-Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois faces surgery after injuring his ACL in training.

Ukraine star Andriy Lunin is currently the only senior Bernabeu stopper ahead of Saturday's LaLiga opener at Athletic Bilbao.

And it's claimed Real have already made contact with former Atletico Madrid No1 De Gea.

The 45-cap Spaniard, 32, is a free agent following 12 years at Old Trafford.

  • Balogun tipped to snub Hammers

Monaco remain favourites to sign Folarin Balogun - amid claims the Arsenal striker is unwilling to join West Ham.

say the USA star, 22, wants to move abroad in his search for regular football.

Monaco are thought to have agreed personal terms with the former England Under-21 ace, who was linked with AC and Inter Milan earlier this summer.

The main certainty is that Balogun is unwilling to go out on loan again.

  • Folarin 'reaches Monaco agreement'

Arsenal ace Folarin Balogun has reportedly reached an initial agreement on personal terms with Monaco.

According to , the Ligue 1 side’s opening bid was worth €40million (£34m) – £16million lower than the Gunners’ reported £50million asking price.

However, the French giants intend to return with an improved offer for Balogun.

The same source adds that Monaco have made signing the striker their priority and have already have agreed personal terms.

  • Ume and bust

Ronaldo's ex Michele Umezu has revealed she is planning to strip off for nude pictures on OnlyFans.

The Brazil legend and two-time World Cup winner, 46, had a fling with Michele back in 2004.

But now the bodybuilder has announced she will be joining OnlyFans.

And while she has admitted she will be stripping off her clothes, she insists she is doing it in an artistic light.

Michele told Brazilian media: "Now, I know that there are different styles and types of materials.

"I want to do a lot of artistic nude photos with my physique."

The 41-year-old is said to have the full support of her family and friends - including the 17-year-old son of Ronaldo and her, Alexander.

Although she did not indicate whether she had told Ronaldo about the move.

She said: "I use my body as art for sports, and I have the support of my family and friends, who understand that I work to achieve a competitive physique.

"Art has nothing to do with vulgarity, because at 14 I already had photos and fashion shows in Japan, when I was an international model. "For a model it's normal."

  • Could be heaven for Hammers and El for Blues

Chelsea face being hijacked for the second time in one day with West Ham chasing Elye Wahi.

It comes with Liverpool - the Blues' home opponent on Sunday - muscling in on their pursuit of Moises Caicedo.

Chelsea are now facing another battle in the fight to secure Wahi, who is being chased by West Ham according to .

Chelsea were reportedly close to a transfer for Wahi in July.

The Montpellier star excelled in Ligue 1 last season, recording 19 goals and six assists in 33 appearances.

On Thursday morning Chelsea were closing in on a stunning £170m triple transfer that included Tyler Adams, Romeo Lavia and Caicedo.

The highly rated Wahi has already been compared to Chelsea legend N'Golo Kante, despite playing a different position.

Wahi and Kante, who left for a huge contract in Saudi Arabia for Al-Ittihad, both hail from the small Paris suburb of Courcouronnes and started their careers at local amateur club JS Suresnes.

  • Edson joy at 'sentimental' move to Hammers

New West Ham midfielder Edson Alvarez hailed his £35milion arrival from Ajax as a "hugely sentimental moment".

David Moyes' first summer recruit was a key man in Mexico's Concacaf Gold Cup in the USA last month.

The 68-cap anchorman, 25, replaces Declan Rice following the West Ham skipper's £105million exit to Arsenal.

Alvarez said: "It's a hugely sentimental moment for me in my career - it is a dream for me and my family.
