WWE legend Trish Stratus to make sensational WWE return in first singles match on RAW for TWELVE years
WWE legend Trish Stratus is set for her first singles match on RAW in 12 years.
Stratus has come out of retirement to set up a sensational rivalry with Becky Lynch.
And their feud may carry on at Money in the Bank on July 1 at The O2 Arena in London.
That is because the Hall of Famer will compete in a qualifying match for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match this Monday on RAW after Lynch already qualified.
The seven-time women’s champion that she will face off against Raquel Rodriguez at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
This marks the 47-year-old’s first singles match on RAW since March 14, 2011 when she lost a No Disqualification Match to Vickie Guerrero.
Stratus returned to action at WrestleMania 39 where she teamed up with Lynch and fellow Hall of Famer Lita.
Together they defeated Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY of Damage CTRL in a Six Woman Tag Team Match.
The Canadian grappler then turned on Lynch to officially kick off her second WWE stint.
Stratus retired in 2006 and only made sporadic appearances in Vince McMahon’s promotion after what appeared to be her final match against Lita at Unforgiven 17 years ago.
