Man Utd fans ask ‘who?’ as three-man shortlist of Mount transfer alternatives is revealed

BAFFLED Manchester United fans were left asking "who?" after a shock name was included in the club's transfer wishlist.
The Red Devils are weighing up alternatives to Mason Mount as Chelsea continue to dig their heels in.
The Blues rejected United's third offer, worth £55million, on Friday and are demanding £65m for the wantaway midfielder who is entering the final year of his contract this summer.
And that has prompted Bayern Munich to make a late swoop for Mount and Erik ten Hag to consider some other options in midfield.
But one name in particular drew some shocked reactions from United supporters.
According to , Taylor Booth is a potential target.

However, fans quickly asked who the relatively unknown star is.
One joked: "What's a Taylor Booth?"
Another queried: "Taylor Booth... who be that?"
And a third simply wrote: "Who?"

Booth, 22, came through at Real Salt Lake before joining the youth set-up at Bayern Munich in 2019 aged 17 - using his Italian passport through his father's heritage.
But after just one senior cup appearance in a 12-0 thumping of Bremer SV in August 2021, the American joined Dutch outfit Utretch the following summer.
He enjoyed a fine debut season in the Eredivisie last term, scoring twice in 25 appearances and even picking up the league's player of the month award in November.
Booth has earned his two USA caps in March this year, helping the national team on their way to CONCACAF Nations League glory.
But he could be thrust into the consciousness of English football should United take a risk and snap him up this summer.
The other names being linked as Mount alternatives are Moises Caicedo and Mohammed Kudus.
Brighton ace Caicedo, 21, has been linked with an exit from the Amex with Chelsea, Arsenal and United all interested.
But the Seagulls are determined to hold out for a whopping fee for Caicedo, who admitted in 2020 his "dream is to play for Manchester United".

Kudus, meanwhile, could be heading to Brighton from Ajax as Caicedo's replacement.
The Ghana star, 22, shone at the World Cup and in the Eredivisie last season - and would be a major addition for Roberto De Zerbi's side in the Europa League.
