Thiago is entering the final year of his contract at Anfield but has not been the subject of transfer speculation so far this summer.

However, his social media activity has caused concern amongst the Liverpool fanbase.

Eagle-eyed supporters have spotted that Thiago has removed Liverpool from his Instagram bio.

His biography on the social media platform now reads: "Our legacy @alcantarafound," along with a link to his charity.

Thiago moved to England in 2020, signing for Liverpool from Bayern Munich for £19million.

He has since made 97 appearances for the club but has struggled with injuries.

Those problems limited him to just 18 league appearances as Jurgen Klopp's side finished fifth in the Premier League.

Klopp has since began overhauling his midfield ahead of the new season with the additions of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Meanwhile, Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have all left on free transfers.
