Chelsea considering new Romelu Lukaku transfer bid from Inter Milan which would see Blues make £70m LOSS on striker
INTER MILAN have reportedly submitted a fresh offer for Romelu Lukaku - but it means Chelsea would make a huge loss on the star.
The Belgian forward arrived back at Stamford Bridge for a whopping £97.5 million back in 2021 from the Italians.
But after just one difficult season back at the Blues he was shipped off back to the Serie A club on loan last season.
Lukaku scored 14 goals in 37 appearances during his loan spell with Inter last term.
Having helped them to reach the Champions League final, Inter are desperate to keep the 30-year-old forward.
However, things are tight financially and they are refusing to meet Chelsea’s asking price - despite it being vastly reduced.

“Chelsea and Inter will discuss in the next hours to make a decision about Lukaku situation.
“He wants to continue in Europe — no chance for Saudi move as of now.”
Lukaku joined Chelsea at 17 from Anderlecht but after three years and two loan moves he joined Everton.
After spells with Manchester United and Inter, the forward established himself as a prolific scorer in Serie A.
It earned him a move back to London but midway through the season Lukaku revealed he was unsettled in the English capital.
That proved the beginning of the end for him and five months later he was back in Milan.
Now fellow Serie A side Juventus are also keen on doing a deal for him this summer, as well as Saudi club Al-Hilal.
Juve reportedly held talks with Chelsea over a potential deal for the striker last week.

However, the Italian giants were said to be furious about his price tag.
Meanwhile, Saudi Super League club Al Hilal offered him a huge £21m-a-year deal but the ace revealed that he wants to stay in Europe.
