DAVID DE GEA could be set for an instant return to football after being released by Manchester United this month.
The Spanish stopper was the club's highest earner on £375,000-a-week but United did not renew his deal after setting their sights on Andre Onana.
though, De Gea could be set to DOUBLE his salary following 'lucrative' offers from Saudi clubs this summer.
A reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo could be on the cards with Al-Nassr being one of the interested parties.
However the Riyadh based club are currently on a transfer ban owing to outstanding payments - opening the door for other Saudi sides to swoop.
De Gea initially looked set to extend his stay at United - with the stopper being willing to accept a paycut to fight for his place.

United had initially looked at Everton keeper Jordan Pickford as De Gea's replacement but baulked at the Toffees' £70million price tag.
The club then turned their sights to Onana - and are close to completing a £47m move with the keeper undergoing a medical later this week.
De Gea leaves United as their most-capped goalkeeper in history having made 545 appearances.
