Jordan Henderson to pocket £110MILLION as Liverpool agree transfer fee for captain with Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq
LIVERPOOL and Al-Ettifaq have reportedly agreed a £12million transfer fee for Jordan Henderson.
And the 33-year-old is now set to pocket an eye-watering £110million after agreeing a huge contract offer with Steven Gerrard's side.
Henderson was left out of Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool squad for today's pre-season friendly against German side Karlsruher.
And claims Liverpool have now agreed a £12m fee with Al-Ettifaq, paving the way for Henderson to link up with Steven Gerrard on a three-year deal worth £700,000-a-week.
That totals an incredible £110m, with Henderson currently on £190k-a-week at Anfield.
The Reds were initially demanding £20million for their club captain, who has two years remaining on his contract.

But Liverpool have now reportedly accepted just £12m after the skipper pushed for the transfer.
Henderson will now quit Liverpool's pre-season training camp and undergo a medical in the coming days.
Liverpool already bid farewell to Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at the end of last season.
They were quick to acquire two midfield replacements in Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, but three more players - including Henderson - are now said to be on the verge of leaving.

Al-Ittihad are reportedly lining up a £40million bid for the Brazilian, who has also been left out of the squad.
And Barcelona want to re-sign Thiago Alcantara.
Liverpool are willing to entertain reasonable offers for the Spaniard, who has less than one year remaining on his current contract.
Sofyan Amrabat, Ryan Gravenberch, Kalvin Phillips and Romeo Lavia are reportedly being considered by Klopp as potential replacements for the outgoing midfielders.
Henderson joined Liverpool from Sunderland in 2011 and went on to score 33 goals in 492 games.
The skipper inspired his side to Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League glory under Jurgen Klopp.
And Henderson is now set to become the latest top-flight star to swap England for the riches of the Middle East.
