  • Bruno packs punch in New Jersey

Newly appointed club captain, Bruno Fernandes, will feel as though he led from the front in the first leg of their USA tour.

His long range effort which baffled Aaron Ramsdale, set the ball rolling for the Red Devils tonight.

Despite coming off at half time, the damage had already been done with his side 2-0 to the good.

Arsenal could not find a way back into the game and this will be a good marker for where the side are going into the new season.

  • Sancho answers critics with great strike

Many have questioned the transfer of Jadon Sancho and the amount Man Utd paid Dortmund for him.

While he has made a disappointing start at Old Trafford, he showed with his goal this evening that he still has what it takes.

It is up to Erik ten Hag to try and get the best out of his players and if he can get Sancho back to the player that lit Europe alight with Dortmund, he will have one hell of a player on his hands.
