Scott, 38, was joined by pundits Ellen White, Fara Williams and Jonas Eidevall in the studio.

She wore a metallic striped knit jacket and mini skirt Michael Kors combo for her morning assignment.

The former Arsenal full-back completed the look with a pair of high-heels.

And fans at home, as always, loved her presenting.

One posted her name alongside a series of heart-eyes emojis.

While a second wrote: “Alex Scott just slays doesn’t she.”

A third swooned: “Alex Scott so good at this now. Her presentation is top class.”

And a fourth gushed: “Love seeing Alex Scott leading the punditry today.”

The BBC presenter mentioned that fans could be sitting down with their breakfast and a coffee to watch the match.

And another tweeted: “Damn Alex Scott making me wish I had bought croissants…”

England went into today’s match looking for a more convincing performance than they put on in their opener against Haiti.

The Lionesses won the match 1-0 courtesy of Georgia Stanway’s re-taken penalty.

But they were indebted to a brilliant Mary Earps save that saw them hold on to all three points.

Denmark, meanwhile, also won their opening game 1-0.

Lars Sondergaard’s team defeated China thanks to a last-gasp goal by Amalie Vangsgaard.
