Mikel Arteta has shown maximum efficiency when it comes to transfer dealings, and will be capable of replicating last season's efforts if his crop of young talent continues to improve.
Premier League relegation
It's going to be a long, hard season for quite a few sides. The gap between those in the upper echelons of the division and those dwelling at the bottom has widened after a busy (and expensive) summer of recruitment.
Six clubs have spent over £100million on additions, while the likes of Brighton, Aston Villa, Brentford, Burnley and Bournemouth have all spent upwards of £60m on fresh talent.
In contrast, promoted duo Luton Town and Sheffield United have spent a pittance. The Blades have signed 20-year-old Benie Traore and Anis Slimane on permanent deals for just over £6m, neither of whom have experience at the highest level.

Last season's top scorer Iliman Ndiaye is close to joining Marseille, while influential loanee James McAtee has returned to Manchester City -- both of whom were responsible for much of the creativity in last season’s promotion-winning Championship campaign.
They are led by Barnsley-born manager Paul Heckingbottom who has lost seven of his only ten fixtures as a Premier League boss.
Luton have brought in four paid signings with Ryan Giles and Tahith Chong among those through the door, but it's highly unlikely they'll replicate Bournemouth, Fulham and Nottingham Forest, who all survived after promotion last year.
The Hatters earned promotion via the play-off final, and built their success on a solid defence. They conceded just 39 goals all season and ground out 17 draws in their 46 fixtures. Goals were the big issue for Rob Edwards' side, who notched upon just 57 -- just nine more than relegated Blackpool.
Premier League top goalscorer
Feel free to skip past this section, there's only one answer to who will be crowned the Premier League's top goalscorer: Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian striker, 23, smashed nearly every record in the book during his debut campaign at the Etihad Stadium, and he's likely to improve yet again.

But Sky Bet do offer an each-way market for the top goalscorer, and there's certainly value to be had if your selection finishes in the top four of the scoring charts.
Harry Kane is Haaland's closest rival at 7/1, although it does look increasingly likely that the England international will join Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
That could open the door to Brazilian forward Richarlison, who could is offered at a colossal 80/1 with Sky Bet. The attacker endured a torrid debut season in north London, but could be deployed in the No.9 role if Kane departs.
- Our verdict: Richarlison top goalscorer (each way) at 80/1 with Sky Bet -

Arsenal scored nine in their opening three fixtures last season, and won 5-0, 4-0 and 3-0 against these opponents last year.
Manchester City to score 90+ league goals, Arsenal to score 80+ league goals, Tottenham to score 70+ league goals & Newcastle to score 60+ league goals is priced at 11/1.
City struck 94 last year, Arsenal bagged 88, and Tottenham and Newcastle scored 70 and 68 respectively. A repeat of that would be enough to see this price boost settled as a winner.
