Chelsea ‘back in talks with Juventus over Romelu Lukaku transfer and could accept stunning swap deal’
CHELSEA are reportedly back in talks with Juventus over the sale of Romelu Lukaku.
The Blues’ latest transfer discussions have raised the possibility of the Belgian leaving Stamford Bridge in a stunning swap deal.
Juventus have been strongly linked with a move for Lukaku, who has been told his Chelsea career is over.
According to , talks between the two clubs have started again over a potential swap deal involving Dusan Vlahovic.
Chelsea are holding internal talks over the transfer after rejecting the chance to sign the Serbian back in July.
The report adds that Chelsea have yet to make a decision on the swap deal, which would see Juventus paid a fee on top of receiving Lukaku.
Vlahovic has been linked with several European clubs this summer, including Tottenham, who had identified him as a replacement for Harry Kane.
The 23-year-old scored 14 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions for the Old Lady last season.
As for Lukaku, he spent last term on loan at Inter Milan and is set to depart Stamford Bridge before the end of the transfer window.
Inter had been linked with a deal for the Belgium international but have since pulled out of the race to sign him.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have already rejected a loan bid from Juventus, who remain the favourites to sign Lukaku this summer.
Lukaku has scored 57 goals in 97 Serie A appearances across his two spells with Inter.
