West Ham had been set to sign the winger after entering talks last month.

However, reports that he is now set to move to Ajax for £17million after a verbal agreement was reached between all parties.

Borges will sign a four-year deal with the Eredivisie side and his medical is being scheduled already.

The report adds that City have included both a buy back and a sell on clause in the sale of Borges.
