MANCHESTER UNITED signing Rasmus Hojlund has been handed the No17 shirt, according to reports.
The striker completed a £72million move to the Red Devils last week.
He has arrived with a back injury and will not be available for the next few weeks, missing the opening games against Wolves and Tottenham.
But he is expected to play a big role for Erik ten Hag this season and his number reflects that.
Hojlund, 20, will wear the No17 shirt, according to .
The number was previously held by Fred but the Brazilian is on the verge of completing a move to Fenerbahce.

The midfielder is set to undergo a medical with the Turkish club after agreeing terms.
United delayed giving Hojlund a number when he was announced, so the youngster had to pose with a plain shirt at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The club wanted to wait until more transfer activity was completed - including the possible arrival of Sofyan Amrabat and the departure of Harry Maguire - before finalising Hojlund's number.
There is plenty of buzz surrounding Hojlund's arrival but Gary Neville is not convinced by the acquisition.
