La Liga clubs ask about Holding
A number of La Liga clubs have reportedly asked questions about a potential deal for Rob Holding.
According to , RCD Mallorca and Sevilla are both interested in striking up a deal with Arsenal for the centre-back.
Holding has not been a big part of Mikel Arteta’s plans at Arsenal and is said to be “expected to leave”.
It is also suggested that a number of Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on the Englishman.
Arsenal willing to sell Smith Rowe
Arsenal are reportedly happy to let Emile Smith Rowe leave in the final few days of the window.
According to The Times, The Gunners are willing to let the 23-year-old go amid approaches from Chelsea.
Smith Rowe is yet to feature for Arsenal in the Premier League this season and appears to have fallen behind Fabio Vieira in the pecking order at the Emirates.
Forest 'revive' interest in Tavares
Nottingham Forest have revived their interest in Nuno Tavares, reports suggest.
The claim Steve Cooper's side are looking to make five new signings before the window closes.
Tavares is among the names on their last, with Forest hoping to strike a loan deal with an option to buy.
Arteta has 'lost faith' in defender
Mikel Arteta has reportedly "lost faith" with Nuno Tavares amid reports linking him with a transfer to Aston Villa.
Tavares has not had a look into the first team since returning from his loan last season.
A now reporter Ben Jacobs has claimed Tavares could find himself out of the door before the window's end.
Jacobs told : "There’s no doubt that Aston Villa have that concrete interest and are looking to potentially do something before the window closes.
"And it’s a shame for Nuno Tavares because he only signed, let’s not forget, for Arsenal in July 2021. And at that stage, he had a four-year contract.
"But I think that it’s fair to say that Mikel Arteta has lost a bit of faith in the defender following his debut season, which obviously then resulted in that move to Marseille and since then Tavares’ days at Arsenal have probably been numbered."
Wright reveals 'worry'
Arsenal legend Ian Wright has admitted he is "worried" about some of the goals the Gunners have conceded this season.
Mikel Arteta has dropped Gabriel in favour of a new tactical approach which has seen Thomas Partey come in at right back - at least until Oleksandr Zinchenko is fit again to start at left-back.
Arsenal have conceded three goals in as many games, including a late sucker punch against Fulham which saw them drop two points.
And Wright has insisted the sloppy way they are conceding cannot continue.
Speaking to Premier League productions, Wright was asked whether he was worried about the goals they were conceding, to which he said: "A little bit worried.
"There is a bit of sloppy play. I think they need to tighten up at the start of games.
"There were times when I was watching the game and I felt nervous for us.
"We don’t seem to be as confident as I thought we could have been in managing the game once we got back into it when we were 2-1 up."
Gabriel Magalhaes boost
Arsenal ace Gabriel Magalhaes is expected to stay at the Emirates despite recent interest from Saudi Arabia.
Gabriel is yet to start a game this season despite him playing in all 38 Premier League games last term.

The Serie A giants have reached a £15.4million deal with L'OM for Guendouzi.
The North Londoners are thought to have included a 15 per cent sell-on clause after selling the midfielder to the Ligue 1 outfit in 2022.
Should the deal be completed, Arsenal will receive around £1.5m from the France international's move.

Balogun sell-on clause
Arsenal will include a significant sell-on clause for Folarin Balogun, who is close to a move to Monaco.
Balogun is set to move to the Ligue 1 outfit for £34million following a fantastic loan stint in France with Reims.
Reports suggested the centre-forward underwent a medical during the weekend.
The USA international didn't convince Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta during pre-season.
Neville's Art attack
Manchester United legend Gary Neville has taken aim at Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta once again as he offers him advice ahead of their clash with the Red Devils this weekend.
I would say that for me, looking at Arsenal, there is an element of experimentation and this expectation that full-backs think they can play midfield and midfielders think they can play at full-back.
Thomas Partey is playing half-and-half in a game and sometimes there is an element that you need to go back to basics.
I would expect next week that Arteta is going to end that experiment and probably go with a solid back four with four defenders.
Gary NevilleNicolas Pepe latest
Arsenal flop Nicolas Pepe is running out of time to find a new club ahead of Friday's transfer deadline day.
Pepe spent last season on loan at Nice and has no future in North London.
Besiktas were keen but the 28-year-old was not open to a move to Turkey.
Some reports claim a Saudi Arabian side may come in for the winger with their transfer window not slamming shut until September 20.
Gabriel Magalhaes will stay

Eric Garcia blow
Arsenal have sustained a transfer blow in their bid to land Barcelona ace Eric Garcia.
According to , Barca manager Xavi has no intention of letting Garcia go this summer.
The centre-back was seen as an alternative to Jurrien Timber, who suffered an ACL injury and expected to miss most of the season.
But any move for the Spain international now appears to be unlikely.
Balogun sell-on clause
Arsenal will include a significant sell-on clause for Folarin Balogun, who nears a move to Monaco.
Balogun is set to move to the Ligue 1 giants for £34million following a fantastic loan stint in France with Reims.
Reports suggested the striker underwent a medical during the weekend.
The USA international didn't manage to convince Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta during pre-season.
Kieran Tierney details
Real Sociedad have landed Kieran Tierney from Arsenal for the rest of the season.
Tierney completed a loan move to Sociedad from the Gunners without a buy option.
The North Londoners sanctioned the deal despite losing new summer signing Jurrien Timber to a long-term injury.
Manager Mikel Arteta is now looking for a versatile defender to replace Timber.
Tierney left because he wanted more game time after falling down the pecking order at Arsenal.
Gabriel to stay
Gabriel Magalhaes is yet to start a match for Arsenal this season despite him playing in all 38 Premier League games for the club last term.
This is supposedly down to tactical reasons.
There has been interest in the centre-back from Saudi Arabia but the club has no intention of selling him.
Emery betters Arsenal
Aston Villa have impressed since ex-Gunners boss Unai Emery took over in late October last year.
Since the beginning of 2023 only Man City have taken more points than the Midlands-based side.
City have achieved 62 points, Man Utd and Villa have claimed 49 to pip Arsenal, who are one point behind them both on 48.
Pepe running out of time
Arsenal £72m man Nicolas Pepe is running out of time to find a new club.
The Ivorian spent last season on loan at Nice and has no future in North London.
But as Friday's deadline approaches, no move for Pepe appears close yet.

Tierney saving
Arsenal have pocketed a reported £1.2m by loaning Kieran Tierney to Real Sociedad.
The deal struck also involves the Spanish side paying all his wages for the season.
Sutton slams Tierney departure
Pundit Chris Sutton has slammed Arsenal's decision to allow Kieran Tierney to go out on loan to Real Sociedad.
The ex-Celtic striker finds it bizarre with the lack of natural cover for Oleksandr Zinchenko.
He said on BBC Radio 5 Live in response to Mikel Arteta's unusual selections: "Kiwior at left-back, strange to be at left-back.
"Tierney going to Sociedad on loan, what has he done wrong?"
Supercomputer predicts
A supercomputer has predicted the final Premier League table.
There is still a long way to go, with 35 games left to be played by many of the teams.
However, some have given themselves work to do after a poor start to the season.
And now supercomputer, BETSiE, has predicted how the season will turn out.
It is good news for Manchester City as they remain favourites to win the title and make it a record breaking four in a row.
Demanding more
Mikel Arteta has backed Kai Havertz to soon come good at Arsenal but dropped a hint he is still getting used to the Gunners' style and way of attacking.
Arteta revealed: "I saw an action when Havertz played backwards and he could have turned.
"But that’s one of the things and the demands of everybody, to play forward and to impact the game in the final third because we had the urgency to win it, but no.”
