Everton line up transfer for forgotten England international as they target bargain buy after Jack Harrison deal
EVERTON are considering another bargain buy as they weigh up a move for Southampton goalkeeper Alex McCarthy.
The Toffees are operating on a tight budget this summer.

One-cap McCarthy, 33, is now one of the top earners at Southampton following James Ward-Prowse's move to West Ham.

McCarthy is now firmly second choice to Gavin Bazunu at St Mary's.
