‘Must have extreme patience’ Mercedes advertise for their spare 2017 driver spot to replace Nico Rosberg and partner Lewis Hamilton
Mercedes are after a top draw driver to partner Lewis Hamilton in F1 so they can retain their constructors title
IF you think you can drive a car as good as Lewis Hamilton then maybe its time to respond to a job that Mercedes have posted.
The firm are on the lookout for world champion Nico Rosberg and they have placed a spoof advert for a new driver to take to the track in the 2017 season.
The advert states that the successful candidate will be: ''responsible for the operation of an F1 car at tracks events, including demos, tests and Grands Prix, ideally have a proven track record in skills including steering braking and, in particular, accelerating''.
Mercedes go on to day that the successful driver would need 'good feedback and communication skills and be able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of rival teams', and show ''extreme patience'' in dealings with the media.
The tip of the goldmine job is being able to take advantage of the bonuses that are offered in the role which includes a company car and a ''generous bonus''.
For every job the salary is an important factor as to whether someone accepts a new role, although the figures are not published there would be no risk of the salary Mercedes would pay being any less than a seven figure sum.
Toto Wolff the boss of Mercedes has said that every F1 driver apart from Kimi Raikkonen and Daniil Kvyat has approached him over the vacancy.
