is the publication where Mercedes placed their 'spoof' advert so they are unlikely to respond to random people but you never know, its worth a shot.

The advert states that the successful candidate will be: ''responsible for the operation of an F1 car at tracks events, including demos, tests and Grands Prix, ideally have a proven track record in skills including steering braking and, in particular, accelerating''.

Mercedes go on to day that the successful driver would need 'good feedback and communication skills and be able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of rival teams', and show ''extreme patience'' in dealings with the media.
