Man Utd handed huge Rasmus Hojlund boost with date set for £72m man’s debut for Ten Hag’s goal-shy side
RASMUS HOJLUND is set to come to Manchester United’s rescue this weekend.
The Red Devils have recorded just one goal in the first two games and that from centre-back Raphael Varane.
But £72million striker Hojlund, on whom so much rests, is now ready to start training with the full squad.
He has suffered a slight injury in pre-season training with his former club Atalanta.
That left him out of the opening games which saw United luckily edge past Wolves 1-0 and lose away at Tottenham 2-0.
Now Man Utd are hopeful he will be fit enough to be on the bench for Saturday’s 3pm kick-off against Nottingham Forest.

There are high hopes for the 20-year-old who has been described by manager Erik ten Hag as a "unique striker".
This after having scored only nine goals in his one season in Serie A.
United played a behind closed doors friendly with Burnley on Wednesday afternoon but Hojlund is understood not to have been involved.
When he joined the club, he said: "It is no secret that I have been a fan of this great club since I was a small boy.
