Mo Salah ‘WILL leave Liverpool in £200m transfer’ as Saudi Arabian Pro League reveal when their transfer window shuts

The Reds turned down that offer but the Saudis are readying an improved offer.

Representatives of Al-Ittihad are now in the UK to make on last push to sign Salah, report the .

Jurgen Klopp has issued a hands off warning but Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson believes it will be difficult for Liverpool to resist a bid in the region of £200m.

Merson told Sky Sports: "He's one of the best players in the world. It's a hard one. If you sell him for £150m what can you bring in? They're not going to be better than Salah.

"With another week of their window to go, they might just come in and say £200m and then it's a worry.

"I would say £200m [would be too much to turn down]. I don't see how you can turn that down for a 31-year-old. That would be irresistible.

"You have to think of the lad and the wages being put around. That's going to turn his head. He won't be happy. It's not a nice position to be in for Jurgen Klopp."

Time is running out for a Saudi club to launch a bid with the Saudi Pro League revealing their transfer window closes on Thursday September 7.

That is good news for clubs in Europe looking to hold onto their prize assets as the previous deadline was September 20.

Salah, 31, showed no signs that his head has been turned as he starred in Liverpool's 3-0 domination of Aston Villa.

The Egyptian scored Liverpool's third and would have had an assist if Darwin Nunez's effort had not struck the post before rebounding off Matty Cash for the Reds' second.

Salah has two goals and two assists in four Premier League games this season.
