And now it’s United’s turn, with 14 players revealed ahead of the game’s launch on September 29.

Casemiro is the highest-rated of those selected, with the Brazilian boasting a huge score of 89.

He is closely followed by United captain Bruno Fernandes on 88.

And there’s three aces in Marcus Rashford, Raphael Varane and Andre Onana sharing a rating of 85.

Elsewhere, maligned winger Jadon Sancho is an 83 player, with new midfielder Mason Mount on 81.

Fellow summer arrival Rasmus Hojlund might struggle to get picked though on 76, while Alejandro Garnacho can only muster a 75.

And some United fans are not happy at all with the new ratings.

It led to a major backlash on social media, with many questioning how EA FC 24 chiefs came about their decisions.

One said: “What’s Rashford got to do for an 88+ rating?”

Another declared: “How is Wan-Bissaka’s defending 77?”

One noted: “I don’t know what this rating is about but you can’t rate Sancho ahead of Garnacho.”

Another boomed: “That is genuinely criminal.”

One guffawed: “These ratings are a legit p**s take.”

Another added: “They’ll never stop disrespecting my club.”
