"How's that possible again 😭," he said before pointing the blame at Carlos Vinicius.

However, the midfielder was quick to realise that Rodrigo Muniz was the culprit and added: "Apologies @carlosvinicius95 it was the other Brazilian @rodrigomuniz019 😂."

Cairney suffered the exact same damage to his car one year ago following a wayward strike from Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The then-Fulham striker showed no remorse as he posed for a selfie in front of the smashed window before sending it to the Cottagers' group chat.

Mitrovic later revealed: "It’s true I broke Tom’s window but it was not on purpose. His car was behind the goal when we were finishing in training.

"I mishit a shot, the ball went over the fence and it was so hot that day and it hit the windscreen and broke it."

The 28-year-old striker was far from the crime scene when Cairney's windscreen was smashed for the second time this week.

He joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal in a £43million transfer in August after forcing an exit from Craven Cottage.

Mitrovic told friends and family that he would never play for Fulham again after club officials rejected an initial £25.5m bid.

And the ordeal left manager Marco Silva with a sour taste.

The Portugal-born boss said: "He forced everything to leave the club, he wanted to leave the club.

"If you ask me if it is normal? No. If you ask me if football players should behave in this way? No. That is the easy answer."
