MANCHESTER UNITED stars are growing 'fed up' with Jadon Sancho, according to reports.

The £73million winger's Old Trafford career is in doubt after a furious public spat with Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag dropped Sancho from the matchday squad for last weekend's defeat at Arsenal.

He cited the £350k-a-week star's "performances in training" for the shock omission.

But Sancho, 23, hit back with a statement on social media in which he claimed he was being made a "scapegoat".

The England international wrote: "I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week.

"I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won't go into, I've been a scapegoat for a long time which isn't fair!"

But now claim that Sancho is struggling to win the support of his United team-mates after the row.

And they say he also has a lot work to do to regain Ten Hag's trust.

A source reportedly told ESPN: "The players have had enough of him."

Sancho has been unable to live up to his £73m price tag since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, scoring just 12 goals in 82 appearances.

Sancho was given three months away from United by Ten Hag last season in order to work on his physical and mental condition in Holland as the manager was worried about the player.

He returned to the team in February and scored in his second game back, against Leeds, but his form was still nowhere near what was expected.

He now finds himself behind Marcus Rashford, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho in the battle for a starting position on the wing for United.

Sancho had featured three times as a substitute in the Premier League this season prior to his Arsenal axe.

And his form struggles - as well as his alleged attitude around the training ground - have not helped his situation.

Ten Hag, meanwhile, is well respected by the majority of the Red Devils squad.

His treatment of players is seen as firm but fair - with no special exceptions made for certain individuals.

That was most evident in the way he handled Cristiano Ronaldo last season, eventually cutting the five-time Ballon d'Or winner out following his explosive interview with Piers Morgan in which he slammed the Dutch manager.

Ex-Manchester City youngster Sancho was almost able to secure an escape route out of Old Trafford and put an end to his nightmare spell.

However, his deadline-day transfer to Saudi club Al-Ettifaq collapsed.

Steven Gerrard's side were keen to sign Sancho on loan but were unwilling to agree to a £50m obligation to buy him next summer.

Sancho has made 23 England caps - but the last time he featured under Gareth Southgate was way back in October 2021, just after he had joined United.
