Leeds legend Lee Bowyer lands shock new job as fans joke ‘he loves Lyle Taylor a bit too much’

LEE BOWYER has landed a shock new job in football management.
The former Premier League midfielder has taken up the job of coaching Montserrat.
Bowyer, 46, led a training session for the players ahead of a match against Barbados at the WildeyTurf in Bridgetown.
The Englishman brings a wealth of managerial experience with him to the Caribbean island.
Bowyer has managed both Charlton Athletic and Birmingham City, winning 81 of his 216 matches.
He had been out of work since being sacked by the Blues in July 2022.

However, after fans heard the news some were quick to joke that he would be coaching former player Lyle Taylor for the third time in his career.
One fan joked: "Lee Bowyer try have a career without Lyle Taylor challenge."
A second Tweeted: "Linked back up with Taylor."
A third commented: "Bro loves Lyle a bit too much."

Taylor, 33, played for Bowyer during his spells at both Charlton and Birmingham.
He was called up by the team for the qualification matches for the 2018 World Cup as he was eligible through his grandparents.
He has gone on to make 13 appearances for Montserrat, scoring 10 goals.
Taylor already had some company in the team as his brother Joey, a defender at Cray Wanderers, also plays for the national team.
