Man Utd chief executive Richard Arnold grilled by staff over Mason Greenwood and Antony in ‘no holds barred’ meeting
MANCHESTER United's boss was grilled by staff over the club's controversial handling of Mason Greenwood and Antony, insiders say.
The Red Devils' chief executive Richard Arnold faced anonymous questions from staff over Zoom on Tuesday afternoon, reports.
In it, he was grilled about United's handling of Greenwood who was loaned out to Spanish side Getafe after a six-month internal investigation over charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control.
The charges against Greenwood were dropped.
Another item of the crisis talks was Brazilian forward Antony, who is embroiled in a police investigation over allegations by three women of domestic abuse.
Antony has denied the claims made against him.

Arnold reportedly assured staff during the "no-holds barred" meeting that the club promoted an inclusive culture and would never tolerate abuse.
The CEO, who succeeded Ed Woodward in 2022, is also believed to have defended the process involving Greenwood's suspension and loan to Spain - arguing the decision was only made following a thorough internal investigation.
Arnold also urged the club to get behind manager Erik Ten Haag and a cluster of summer signings after a calamitous start to the season which saw the side slip into the bottom half of the table.
The club begin their Champions League campaign away at Bayern Munich tomorrow night.

The Sun had previously revealed how - following robust criticism over United's handling of the situation with Greenwood - Old Trafford chiefs spoke at length to Women’s Aid and other charities about how to deal with similar situations.
Greenwood played his first match in 20 months on Sunday, coming on as a late sub in a 3-2 victory over Osasuna.
As he ran out on the pitch in the 77th a section of the away support in the stadium chanted “Greenwood, die”.
Osasuna coach Jogoba Arrasate slammed fans for the taunts.
Winger Antony agreed to take time away from the club after accusations of abuse made by three women.
United released a statement on Sunday to announce that Antony, 23, will delay his return to training "in order to address the allegations."
