Mason Greenwood controversy

Mason Greenwood joined Getafe on loan in the summer after Manchester United decided against having him in the squad this season.

This came after a six-month internal investigation over charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control.

The charges against Greenwood were ultimately dropped following the withdrawal of key witnesses and new material that came to light.

The 21-year-old was first arrested at his home in January of last year and was due to stand trial in November.

Reports suggested United considered bringing the striker back to the squad but a heated backlash from fans led to the changing their mind.

Using your head

Prior to Latasa scoring Getafe's eighth goal of the season, the club had scored four of their seven goals thanks to headers.

This put second behind only Union Berlin in terms of proportion of goals scored this way.

And this figure is even higher after Latasa's goal due to that goal also being a header.

The figure now stands at 62.5 per cent.

Mason misery

He came on and scored two goals to help his team win the 4-3 win.
