WEST HAM face competition from Everton and Swansea for Red Bull Leipzig striker Davie Selke.
The young German caused controversy when he announced he was leaving Werder Bremen to drop down a league to join ambitious Red Bulls for around £6million in the summer of 2015.
A tactical switch by Bulls coach Achim Beierlorzer to go without a main target man has seen Selke make just nine appearances and score two goals this term.
But that has not put off any potential Premier League suitors, with West Ham keen to replace outgoing loan flop Simone Zaza.
Meanwhile Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is desperate to offload misfit Oumar Niasse, who has been told he has no future on Merseyside.
Koeman will look to add some attacking options in January and has identified the striker, who was part of the German team who lost the Olympic final to Brazil in Rio.
The newly promoted Bundesliga outfit are shaking up the old order in Germany and are currently joint top with Bayern Munich.
Swansea will also compete for Selke's signature as the South Wales side are joint bottom of the Premier League with Hull after a crushing defeat at Middlesbrough on Saturday.
All three clubs vying for his signature will look to strike a loan deal with a view to a permanent switch in the summer.
