ANTHONY JOSHUA has spent £2,000 to lock himself away in a pitch black room for FOUR DAYS.
The heavyweight boxing superstar booked into the retreat on October 14 and detailed the procedure in an interview beforehand.
He told : "I’m about to do something, on 16 October, I’m going to a place for four days where I will be on my own in total darkness, pitch black for four days.
"At the time it will be the worst thing ever, but then I think when I come out, I will say I wish I had done more."
Joshua will be alone for the duration and will only be given food slid under the door without any human contact.
And he revealed: "No phone. No TV. No radio. No audiobooks. Nothing."
