Cheeky fans taunt Klopp with old video after Konate controversy in Liverpool’s win over Everton

FANS were in stitches at a clip of Jurgen Klopp saying to a "journalist": “Are you serious with that question?”

A mocked-up video shows a dubbed-over voice asking the German about replaying the Merseyside derby after Ibrahima Konate dodged a second yellow card.

The voice asks: “Jurgen, Everton feel that Ibrahima Konate should have been sent off today and that it was a terrible decision that he wasn’t.

“Do you think they should be allowed to have a replay too?”

A stunned Klopp responds: ";Are you serious with that question?"

The original clip is from last month, when Klopp was asked about Liverpool's issues with 12:30 kickoffs.

But rivals fans dubbed over the video in light of the Merseyside derby controversy.

Liverpool secured a 2-0 win over rivals Everton at Anfield on Saturday.

Ashley Young was sent off before Mo Salah scored twice to seal victory for the Reds.

But Everton were left incensed when Ibrahima Konate failed to see red for foul when the score was still level at 0-0.

Konate was already on a yellow card when he made a rough attempt to win the ball.

The Liverpool boss had previously called for his side’s defeat to Tottenham to be replayed after a VAR cock-up denied Luis Diaz a legitimate goal.
