That's all from Manchester
Manchester United picked up their first Champions League victory of the season after a dramatic 1-0 win against Copenhagen at Old Trafford.
And it was two of United’s most heavily criticised players who sealed the three points.
It all started with Harry Maguire, who beat Kamil Grabara with a clinical header after 72 minutes following a stunning cross by his captain Bruno Fernandes down the right.
But the Red Devils came close to another disappointing result as Scott McTominay carelessly fouled Mohamed Elyounoussi inside the area in the fourth and final minute of stoppage time.
However, it was Andre Onana’s turn to silence his own critics as he bailed the Manchester giants out by denying Jordan Larsson’s spot-kick with a stunning save using his right arm.
That's all from us here at SunSport, have a great night!
Erik ten Hag reaction
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag praised Andre Onana and Christian Eriksen.
It’s incredible, a great night, especially in the dying seconds. A brilliant save from Andre slowly we have found our form in the season, it is a step up.
A few weeks ago we got out of rhythm with setbacks but now we stayed calm, the win was justified.
Copenhagen is well organised so you have to break them and find the right moments.
Christian Eriksen is composed and makes the right passes. I am sure when we get a consistent back four, it will give us a foundation to play off.
Erik ten HagAndre Onana reacts
Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana saved his team's blushes with a stunning penalty save in the final moment of the match.
However, Onana insists he was only "doing his job" against Copenhagen.
I was doing my job, you know?
I’m happy with the victory, we did a good game, we have to continue like that.
Andre Onana
Harry Maguire speaks
Manchester United ace Harry Maguire put together a stunning performance and scored the winner.
But Maguire praised Andre Onana's late penalty save and dedicated the win to Sir Bobby Charlton.
Incredible. The first half was really poor, the second was a lot better, an important win and this man [Andre Onana] stepped up and made a massive save.
It was one of those nights, it was just meant to be. A win dedicated to Sir Bobby.
It’s been a tough, tough week. We’re going to miss him, and we’re really proud to get the win for him.
