  • Man Utd vs Copenhagen Head-to-Head

Manchester United’s first ever encounter with Copenhagen took place back in 2006 in the Champions League group stage where they won 3-0 at Old Trafford.

United then lost 1-0 in the return fixture at the Parken, which marked the Danish giants’ first ever win in Europe’s elite competition.

The two sides wouldn’t face off again until 2020 when they met in the Europa League quarter-finals in a one-game knockout in Germany due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Red Devils went on to win 1-0 at extra-time thanks to Bruno Fernandes’ winner from the penalty spot.
