Jack Grealish poses with unrecognisable Premier League cult hero ahead of Man City Champions League clash
Grealish hailed the Premier League icon as his "first ever hero"
JACK GREALISH recently came face to face with one of his boyhood heroes.
The Manchester City star posed for a picture with Aston Villa icon Juan Pablo Angel, who played in the Premier League for six years.
Grealish posted the picture on Instagram with a comment that read: “My first ever hero.
“If you know you know. There’s only one Juan Pablo Angel.”
The two stars met at what appears to be City’s training ground, leaving fans stunned.
Angel now looks completely unrecognisable from his Villa days.
His long hair and signature headband has been swapped for a short cut.
He is also now sporting a beard.
Grealish first met the Aston Villa icon back in 2019, when he interviewed him for a YouTube video.
The England star said: “I remember watching you as a kid, you were obviously my favourite player scoring all the goals.

“I’ve never had the chance to meet you before, so it’s a pleasure.”
Angel, now 47, joined Aston Villa in a then club-record £9.5million transfer from River Plate.
He made 205 appearances for the Villans during his six-year spell, scoring 62 goals and providing 10 assists.
The striker left the club in 2007 to join New York Red Bulls.
He then went on to play for LA Galaxy, Chivas USA and Atletico Nacional before retiring in 2014.
