VICTOR Lindelof is set to be a Manchester United player in January after Jose Mourinho secured his £42million capture.
The centre-back, 22, was targeted by Mourinho after catching the eye at the Portuguese manager's former club Benfica.
Sweden star Lindelof will become United's most expensive ever defender, with the move eclipsing Rio Ferdinand's £29.1m capture from Leeds in 2002.

Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira flew into England and the deal was thrashed out and agreed overnight, according to the Swedish press.
Lindelof has won two Primeira Liga titles with Benfica and will link up with his Old Trafford team-mates in January.
The 6ft 2in defender will add a big physical presence to United's defence, while his calmness under pressure has earned him the nickname 'Iceman'.
He will have a friend at Old Trafford in Sweden team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who gave the defender his seal of approval ahead of the move.
He won the European Under-21 Championship with Sweden in 2015 and already has Champions League experience under his belt.
A deal to bring him to Middlesbrough last January fell through after Benfica tried to add more clauses at the last minute.
