Cole Palmer apologises to Mauricio Pochettino after pelting him with water bottle during Chelsea’s draw with Arsenal
COLE PALMER has apologised for pelting a water bottle at Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino.
The accident happened at Stamford Bridge on Saturday as Chelsea threw away their two-goal lead against Arsenal.
Palmer, 21, made a move to West London from Manchester City this summer for £42.5million.
He put in an impressive performance on Saturday's Premier League clash against the Gunners after making it onto the scoresheet.
Chelsea were leading 2-0 up until Declan Rice's stunning 77th-minute goal.
But then the Blues youngster was hit with misery after Leandro Trossard belted in the 84th-minute equaliser ending the game all-square.

Palmer's instant reaction to the goal was to launch a water bottle towards the dugout.
The bottle accidentally hit his own boss Poch and now the Englishman pleads the Argentine coach does not "drop him" from his starting line-up.
Palmer told the Chelsea : "When they scored their second goal I was getting a drink.
"I went to throw the bottle away, as you do, but didn’t look. I just saw it loop dead slow and hit the gaffer.

"I said sorry to him and apologised properly after the game. Hopefully he won’t drop me for that!
"We get on well. I try to show him every day in training what I can do. Work hard and just try to repay him because he puts a lot of faith in us."
Since his arrival at Stamford Bridge Palmer has scored two goals and made one assist.
He has made an impressive performance with his two goals coming in his last two performances for the Blues.
Palmer added: "I came to Chelsea to try to make an impact.
"I’m happy I’ve done it straight away. Credit to the lads, the lads are all good, helped me settle in and stuff, but I’ve just got to try to improve every day and give more and more."
The midfielder will be hoping he has done enough to start Chelsea's next Premier League clash against West London rivals Brentford on Saturday.
