United offered very little and were outplayed by Pep Guardiola's side once again, and they have now lost five of their ten Premier League games this season.

Red Devils legend Keane ripped into the performance after the final whistle and warned it will be a long road back for Erik ten Hag's team.

He said on Sky Sports: "They're just toying with United now. It's different levels now.

"It's almost, I wouldn't say embarrassing, I do feel for the United players.

"They're short in every aspect - technically, tactically and, worryingly, even physically.

"Credit to City they're an outstanding team. United where do you start and where do you finish? Long way back for this team."

Things could have gone from bad to worse for United but Antony escaped a red card despite lashing out at Jeremy Doku.

The City winger dodged an Antony tackle with a cheeky piece of skill so the Brazilian swung a leg at him without trying to win the ball.
