Silva, 48, left the UFC following just one win in his final nine bouts, including three defeats on the bounce.
But he made a switch to boxing and beat ex-world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, 37, and MMA star Tito Ortiz, 48.
He went on to then fight YouTuber-turned boxer Jake Paul, 26, where he suffered a points loss.
