Meet Mariah May, AEW’s latest star who is nicknamed ‘The Glamour’ and sends fans wild with ‘Goddess-level’ selfies
MARIAH MAY was officially unveiled as an AEW star this week following months of speculation.
May - real name Mariah May Mead - made her debut on the latest episode of Dynamite on Wednesday night
And to say the Brit was over the moon to officially be part of the AEW family would be an understatement.
After her signing was announced live on air by presenter RJ Clifford, she said: "It's so nice to meet you and I'm so excited to be in AEW.
"I've wrestled all over the world, I've just come from Stardom in Japan and now I'm now I'm so excited to be a part of the AEW women's division."
She then flirted with Clifford, playfully poking his chest and saying: "I'm a big fan of your work."
The blonde bombshell then revealed she was heavily influenced to join AEW because of her idol - Toni Storm.
The 25-year-old went super high-pitched as she said: "Toni Storm, she's the reason I'm here.
"I went to Japan because Toni went to Japan and now Toni is in AEW, so now I'm in AEW."
Wrestling fans were over the moon with AEW's signing of former World Wonder Ring Stardom star May and revealed their delight on Instagram.
