Chelsea 3-3 Manchester City
85: Bit stop-start now. It's getting tense out there as the final whistle draws closer.
A member of Mauricio Pochettino's staff hands him a towel to dry his face. Looked a nice fluffy one. M&S essentials perhaps. More as a I get it. Pointless as he's soaked again now.
Chelsea 3-3 Manchester City
82: Conor Gallagher saw his name in lights as the ball sits up nicely for him. He's a full 25-yards out as his looping half-volley flies over the crossbar.
If it stays like this, City are just one point ahead of the chasing pack in the Premier League title race.
Chelsea 3-3 Manchester City
80: Big ten. Huge ten.
Mateo Kovacic on for Julian Alvarez. Five years he spent at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea 3-3 Manchester City
79: Brief pause while Gusto receives some treatment. He's fine to continue as the rain hammers down in London. What twists and turns do we have left?
Chelsea 3-3 Manchester City
76: MISS! That should be 4-3 to Chelsea. Raheem Sterling jinks past Rodri and cuts the ball back for an onrushing Gusto. The substitute simply needs to bend it beyond Ederson but thrashes it over instead.
Chelsea 3-3 Manchester City
75: Well then! Kyle Walker looks to usher a bouncing ball back to his goalkeeper, who duly thumps it clear. It does flick Walker's hand on its way - but there's clearly no intention there. Nothing given and play continues.
Chelsea 3-3 Manchester City
72: Pep Guardiola is sat down on the bench shouting at anyone who'll listen. And a booking for midfield lynchpin Rodri will only irritate him further. The Spaniard brought down an attacking Cole Palmer in the middle of the park.
Chelsea 3-3 Manchester City
68: Penalty shout! Everyone's losing their heads here, including Jamie Carragher in the commentary box.
Bernardo Silva's cross hits the head of a sliding Disasi and there are shouts for a penalty. VAR checks it and clearly see that there's no hand involved. As you were…
Chelsea 3-3 Manchester City - Jackson
67: GOAL! It's a genuine thriller in West London! Chelsea are back on level terms through Nicolas Jackson, who pings in his fourth goal in two games.
Conor Gallagher hammers an effort at Ederson after some good work from substitute Mykhailo Mudryk down the left. The City stopper can only palm it back centrally where Jackson is waiting to prod home. Scenes at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea 2-3 Manchester City
65: More changes.
Mykhailo Mudryk ON, Enzo Fernandez OFF
Malo Gusto ON, Reece James OFFAnd the delay lengthens with Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson down requiring treatment. That gives Pep Guardiola a chance to shout at Kyle Walker and Jack Grealish - something insightful I'm sure.
Chelsea 2-3 Manchester City
62: Ah Cole Palmer! The Chelsea playmaker produces some sublime skill and a quick turn of foot to dart past three City shirts and into the penalty area. He's done all the hard work but fluffs the finish straight at a diving Ederson. Should be 3-3.
Caicedo is booked for a foul on Grealish
Chelsea 2-3 Manchester City
60: Must admit, thought Jeremy Doku was starting to have a real impact as the game stretched - but who am I to question Pep?
Chelsea 2-3 Manchester City
59: Jeremy Doku is really ramping things up. He's off again down the left with acres of space to attack. Axel Disasi does well to stand him up and force a tame right-footed effort.
SUB: And that's his last contribution as Jack Grealish replaces the Belgian winger.
Chelsea 2-3 Manchester City
56: Jeremy Doku booked for simulation inside the penalty area. "I've seen worse dives," Jamie Carragher says. Reece James and the City winger make minimal contact before he throws himself to the deck.
Anthony Taylor not buying it.
Chelsea 2-3 Manchester City
53: Well, it's back to square one for Chelsea. They've already completed one two-goal turnaround this afternoon - can they possibly do another?
Manchester City are increasing the tempo. Rodri tees up Alvarez for a chance just outside the penalty area, but his effort is at a comfortable height for Robert Sanchez.
Chelsea 2-3 Manchester City
50: Not to point fingers, but Moises Caicedo flying in to intercept the ball forward allowed Erling Haaland to turn and find his colleagues. Bit rash from the Chelsea midfielder.
Chelsea 2-3 Manchester City - Haaland
47: GOAL! A more relaxed second half? Forget about it.
It's a fantastic team goal from the treble-winners as Erling Haaland rolls his marker on the halfway line and sends Phil Foden on his bike.
The England midfielder finds Julian Alvarez on the overlap, and the Argentine crosses in for Haaland to slide the ball over the line with Reece James breathing down his neck.
Chelsea 2-2 Manchester City
46: Nine points from the last 39 points available at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea. That needs to change.
Gosh! Kyle Walker is beaten by Raheem Sterling down the left channel and decides to slide in forcefully a second time. Clear free-kick and perhaps lucky to avoid a booking. The free-kick comes to nothing.
Chelsea 2-2 Manchester City
45: So… are Chelsea only going to do classics from now on? Tottenham win on Monday, wild 45 minutes today… not a complaint, just an observation.
We're back underway.
Chelsea 2-2 Manchester City
HT: Breathless. Poch vs Pep matches are never, ever dull.
Chelsea 2-2 Manchester City
49: Manchester City just knocking the ball around the middle of the park. Both sides seem to be taking a breather.
You can hear Mauricio Pochettino clapping and shouting: "Come on, come on - let's go."
Chelsea 2-2 Manchester City - Akanji
46: GOAL! The champions are level, and it's football 101 for Manchester City.
Bernardo Silva collects the pass from a short corner and whips it in for Manuel Akanji, who is completely unmarked between Reece James and Thiago Silva. He guides the ball beyond the wrong-footed Sanchez.
Mauricio Pochettino shakes his arms in frustration on the sidelines.
Chelsea 2-1 Manchester City
45: SIX MINUTES ADDED TIME
Chelsea 2-1 Manchester City
44: This is a basketball match. Spare a thought for the humble blogger, guys!
Nicolas Jackson and Raheem Sterling link up with the latter nutmegging Jeremy Doku to get away again. Jackson has the effort, but it's a little tame and Ederson saves.
Chelsea 2-1 Manchester City
42: Excuse me? That's a goal 99 times out of 100 for Erling Haaland.
Bernardo Silva plays a glorious pass straight through the heart of the Chelsea defence for the Norwegian but his effort is saved by Robert Sanchez. Everyone expected the net to ripple there.
