EVERTON find themselves joint-bottom of the Premier League table after the Premier League docked them ten points.

That deduction has forced bookmakers to revise their relegation markets - but it's not all bad news for the Toffees.

CORAL:

In fact, Coral still have three of Everton's Premier League rivals at shorter odds than the Merseyside club to go down this season.

In part, it's down to the clubs they're now up against in the battle to avoid the drop, with Luton, Sheffield United and Burnley offering very little since their promotions last season.

But it's also to do with Everton's own fine form they've found under Sean Dyche.

They've taken seven points from their last three Premier League outings - West Ham (A), Brighton (H) and Crystal Palace (A).

While a thumping 3-0 over Burnley in the Carabao Cup is wedged amongst that.

That's enough for Coral to suggest they'll still accumulate enough points to survive, and are 2/1 for relegation now - having been 9/2 this morning.

It's still Luton (1/5), Sheffield United (1/5) and Burnley (8/13) that occupy the three spots at the top of this betting market.

Burnley are below Everton on goal difference with the pair now on four points, the Blades are a point further on with Luton now outside the relegation places on six points.

It's then up to nine points to find Bournemouth who are 12/5 to go down and Fulham are three points further ahead at 13/2.

Everton have of course revealed they will appeal the decision so this market could prove a lively one as the season rumbles on.

Coral's John Hill said: “Although Everton’s 10-point deduction puts them in the bottom three, we still think there is a good chance they will survive relegation, as Luton, Sheffield United and Burnley all remain odds-on to go down.
