Leicester 0 Everton 2: Ronald Koeman’s side win first away game in over THREE months as Kevin Miralles and Romelu Lukaku sink Foxes
Foxes have not won in their last three league games and were put to the sword by a dominant Everton side
EVERTON win for the first time away from home since September after Leicester were undone by goals from Kevin Mirallas and Romelu Lukaku.
It was a quiet first half in the Premier League clash with Everton going in at the interval with over 60 per cent possession but they failed to test Kasper Schmeichel.
The King Power Stadium had 30,000 Jamie Vardy masks within the stands as the club's owners continue to protest Jamie Vardy's three-match suspension.

The Foxes had a promising ten-minute spell on the front foot but likewise couldn't find an opener - but a positive boost for the home fans was how impressive Ben Chilwell looked on his Premier League debut.
Mirallas was extremely close to giving the visitors the lead, seconds before the half-time whistle, the ball was fired across goal but he was millimetres away from getting a touch on the ball to redirect it goal wards.
But Everton's travelling fans eventually had something to cheer about five minutes after the break when Mirallas ran on to a long ball by Joel Robles.
The Belgian burst in between Wes Morgan and Marcin Wasilewski, with the latter getting a nick on the ball as the striker slotted it low past Schmeichel.
The Foxes responded with another good spell and nearly found a break through after Danny Simpson lofted in a cross but despite having a free header Leonardo Ulloa could only guide his effort into Robles' hands.
Claudio Ranieri's men continued to pile on the pressure but they lacked quality in the final third, with the Toffees' defence comfortably dealing with their long ball.
The Toffees eventually picked off the Foxes in the closing stages and a wonderful solo run saw Lukaku shove Morgan to the ground before shifting the ball past Wasikewski and burying it low in the corner.
STATS, FACTS, GOALS & LOLS
- It was a bit weird. But in an odd protest towards the FA, Leicester handed out 30,000 Jamie Vardy masks to fans to wear after his three-match ban. Not all the Leicester fans wore the masks but Vardy proudly put his on. Even stranger was that FA chairman Greg Clarke thought it was funny and also put on a Vardy mask. The striker was sent off at Stoke on December 17 for a two-footed challenge on Mame Biram Diouf. Leicester's appeal was rejected.
- Most clubs take every opportunity to rip off their fans but not Leicester. The club are taking their fans on chartered planes for the last 16 Champions League clash at Seville for £279 – including transfers. They are clearly not making much profit from that. Other teams could learn a thing or two.
- Ben Chilwell made his first Premier League appearance for Leicester and was impressive. The left-back is rated so highly by Claudio Ranieri – and has been a target for Arsenal – that he is already banking £20,000-a-week. Leicester made changes with Vardy, Christian Fuchs and Robert Huth all suspended.
- Everton started with Joel Robles in goal after Maarten Stekelenburg’s injury from the Merseyside derby. It was only Robles’ second start of the season,
- The first half was unbelievably bad. Not a decent chance on goal.
- Ranieri made one half-time substitution with Danny Drinkwater replacing Okazaki. It gave Leicester an extra man in midfield.
- It didn't help at the start of the second half though. Mirallas scored only his second goal of the season in the 51st minute but needed a bit of luck. Wes Morgan and Marcis Wasilewski failed to deal with Robles’ long clearance and Mirallas took a couple of touches. His effort was not great but it then came off Wasikewski and into the net.
- The decision to replace Demarai Gray with Leonardo Ulloa was greeted with boos by the home crowd who wanted the winger to stay on. Seconds later, Ulloa headed straight at Robles, In the double substition, Riyad Mahrez also came on for Andy King.
- Everton teenager Tom Davies was handed only his sixth Everton appearance. Midfielder Davies, 18, replaced Barry in the 68th minute and showed some classy touches and sent a shot wide.

WHAT THEY SAID
Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri said: "We were in control but suddenly there was a long kick and we reacted a little late and they scored.
"After that we were nervous, and controlled the match much better. This season is this way - nothing is right, nothing is easy. We have to work and react. That's our medicine. We have to stay together in the bad moment.
"We wanted to give a good present on Boxing Day, but it was not possible. Here everything was right in the first six months and now everything is wrong."
Everton boss Ronald Koeman said: "We played well, the second half was better than the first. Our ball possession was better after 1-0 and that's a question of confidence.
"I think we had chances to score more goals. It was a good team performance, with fight. We defended well and were good on the counter-attack.
"We know the Premier League is tough and we need to prepare ourselves for Hull now. This gives us confidence."
