Man Utd fans convinced ‘the world isn’t ready’ with Erik ten Hag ‘set to start academy sensation’ in huge Everton clash

The player has not made a single senior appearance this season

MANCHESTER UNITED fans are convinced that "the world is not ready" as Kobbie Mainoo is reportedly in line for a start.

The Red Devils' academy midfielder is thought to be in the running for a starting spot against Everton on Sunday.

Erik ten Hag is in need of some fresh blood in his midfield which has struggled at times this season.

Mainoo, 18, has not played this term as he has battled injuries but is now fit again.

He impressed in pre-season against Arsenal before suffering his injury.

And now United fans are thrilled to learn that he might be starting against Everton.
