Fans troll Mbappe for ‘thinking he’s Garnacho’ as PSG star’s overhead kick goes horribly wrong against Newcastle
FANS have trolled Kylian Mbappe after his overhead kick went horribly wrong against Newcastle.
The Parisians were trailing Newcastle 1-0 at the time when Ousmane Dembele went through on goal.
His shot was saved by Nick Pope, which left Mbappe with the option to attempt the spectacular.
But it backfired, and the ball fell at the feet of team-mate Fabian Ruiz instead out to left of the penalty area instead.
Fans were ruthless in drawing comparisons with Alejandro Garnacho's wondergoal at the weekend.
Many felt that Garnacho's acrobatic strike was the finest ever in the Premier League.
