Arteta praises players' performance
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta revealed he was delighted with his players despite the late scare given to them by Wolves.
The Spanish spoke gushingly about his team, bemoaning only the chances that they failed to put away that would have sealed victory long before the visitors made a game of it.
I can only praise the players, they were excellent. We played against a really good side and generated so much and conceded almost nothing. The scoreline should have been very different. We were very unlucky because we hit the post three times, I think. Towards the end we made an error close to the goal, and in the Premier League you get punished. At the end, it’s game on, but overall, I’m really happy with how we performed again.

Gunners quick off the draw
You know what they say about early Arsenal goals? They're like the number 43 bus.
The Gunners hadn't scored inside the opening 15 minutes of Premier League games this season until today - and then bagged two in quick succession.
Bukayo Saka's sixth-minute opener was the North London club's quickest in the Premier League since the same player scored after two minutes of a 4-2 win at Brighton back in December 2022.

In opening the scoring this afternoon, Bukayo Saka also netted Arsenal's 100th goal of 2023.
But while there would have been no prizes for anticipating the scorer of that landmark strike, few will recall who bagged the club's first of the calendar year.
That honour belongs to Mohamed Elneny, who was on target in the Gunners' 3-0 FA Cup third round win at Oxford back on January 9.
Arsenal are now the fifth team from Europe's five top league sides to reach this total across all competitions this calendar year after Manchester City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen.
